oops sorry! Yeah probably a bit crabby:D
Do you not think scented spritzing spray maybe makes labour seem a little bit, erm.... not like it actually is-ish? Or is that just me? :rotfl: xxx

*can't help but think that bounty are encouraging a false image of what to expect in labour, it's not a flipping spa day!*
This made me laugh....I felt a bit like that and thankfully i packed mine early otherwise i dread to think what OH would have packed for me.
Susan, how are you and Alice?
Ladybird and Feelie...have a lovely day and enjoy your meet up. Have you met before? Sorry not sure.
Bruno sorry your not feeling any better. Did you have to go into work today? Hope your medicines start to work fast.
Choppy, hope Caitlin is on the mend after managing to keep down the last milk. I hope it stays that way. You feel so helpless when they are poorly.
Ive got a meeting at work this morning re my request to reduce my hours. Hope all goes well. Have a few things to return for DD to next and think we'll go for lunch.
Im feeling a little fragile lately. Im so tired and not sure why as Rose is such a good sleeper. Going to try to look after myself a bit more. Hope everyone has a good day xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
I wasn't saying I didn't agree with you weezl, just that the tone of your post was a bit stroppy compared to your usual gentle nature.
I try to stay away from conversations about what to pack in your bag, cos whenever I read any of the lists I think what to pack in your bag is the least of your problems!MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

That'll be why they had the survey a few weeks ago then ... stand by for misinformation and general disapproval of those of us who breastfeed past the first month... *rolleyes*Do you not think scented spritzing spray maybe makes labour seem a little bit, erm.... not like it actually is-ish? I agree Weezlie, the things they suggest you should put in your bag are ridiculous. Following the emergency bit, I needed: something to sleep in, big comfy knickers (high waisted and in two sizes bigger than I normally wear - to be thrown away afterwards!!), maternity and nursing pads, a little shower gel/shampoo thing, slippers, moisturiser and lip balm cause hospital air is dry and can make your face feel sore. Then for Molly (or Kester for you... ) two changes of vest/sleepsuit, nappies and wipes, or cotton wool (but you can use his wipes too to get into your armpits and feel a bit nicer post-labour but pre-shower). Put that stuff in two separate plastic bags for Mummy and Kester, or get into the habit of keeping them on top of your broken gym bag so the broken zip doesn't matter, and then everything but the camera will be ready to go if you need it. And the camera will probably be floating around near your DH before any hospital transfer anyway.
