  • There are no curtains in our swimming pool showers, its just a block with about 10 shower heads and an open changing room too, so you have no choice !! You learn very quickly how to dress under a towel !!

one of the many reasons I don't swim
I also almost never showered/changed at the gym, I like my own shower and to get dry and dressed in my own time complete with wondering into the kitchen nudey to find a clean pair of kecks :rotfl:

on that note I'm taking this stink bomb to his bed and getting myself some shut eye!

When you have established weaning and baby is eating 3 meals a day, when do you give them their milk?
At present we aren't established but I am giving J a bottle of milk then a meal. Obviously when he goes onto 3 meals I expect his milk consumption will go down even more but I'm not sure if he should be having bottle then breakfast, bottle then lunch, bottle then tea and then a bedtime bottle OR if the bottles should be in between meals? VERY CONFUSED.COM
    I think we ended up:
    milk followed by breakfast
    midmorning milk
    lunch
    nap followed by milk
    dinner
bath followed by milk then bed

Then milk feeds are gradually being dropped.
could anyone help me please, done a quick search but never came up with anything

i am expecting my third baby soon, and i am now going down the route of reusables and eco friendly

i would really like not to use baby wipes, but i cant use cotton wool either

does anyone have any ideas or suggestions please
We use flannels. In the early days we used cotton wool too and we do use wipes for when we're out (or when the water is off) but mainly used flannels. You can probably get them elsewhere but we got cheap packets of flannels from Ikea. If you wanted to, it would be quite easy to take wet flannels out with you (in a tub or plastic food bag or something) but I knew that we would probably end up with mouldy flannels in the change bag if we did that so didn't. Alternatively you could have water and flannels separate in the change bag (which is how we did cotton wool in the early days when out). I also think I've heard of people using a spray bottle for moistening flannels but I may be imagining it. Most people seem to make up solutions with extra stuff in them for reusable wipes but I just use plain water. We did do elimination communication though so didn't have the same dirty nappies and nappy rash that people typically have to deal with.

Don't know but neither can I.

What is elimination communication? I've not heard of that.
