It's not the first thing he's lost.
He lost a Gameboy a couple of years back, lost his Christmas 08 cash as he put it in an old envelope then thinks he accidentally threw the envelope in the bin, and he lost his mobile last year but a nice man found it and rang me and he dropped it round.
He just doesn't seem to learn how to look after things
He had a fleece on with zipped pockets, but rather than put it in the pocket, he stuck it down the flap where the pocket is stitched on the inside and it must have fell out when he was running home. Here I go again on my own....0 -

My DD exactly the same. Broke an expensive phone, broke her expensive camera and lost her purse with £40 in it.
She doesn't look after anything properly, but thats because shes immature about these things. She doesn't equate hard work with getting things. Not many children do. Its not until your working for your own stuff that you learn to take care of it.
Unfortunatly kids are only kids and whether its an expensive phone or a skipping rope they will either ruin it or lose it
I never replace anything she breaks or has lost0 -
