MFD I think the idea of a holiday buggy being small is that you've got to store it somewhere for the 50weeks of the year you're not on holiday.
I took my P&T to switzerland which is probably the same size as the ebay one (its 10kg like that one) here s the argos one, it reclines http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3760914/Trail/searchtext%3EMAMAS+AND+PAPAS+BUGGY.htm

  • Ah! Storage! I would just stick it in the garage with the rest of the crap!!

Will have a think about it. The M&P one looks a little insubstantial :o I have visions of wobbly wheels.

Maybe I will pop to the M&P factoryshop and see what they have...although that could be dangerous.

    Ho hum!!

Why aren't you allowed to take the Stokke? Although i've never seen one folded - do they fold?

beenie, the plastic one isn't very good, you want the one on a metal frame if you get one (we have both)

They do, but not very small and the seat and the base are separate. You can buy a bag for them but it is not very padded, wouldn't trust monarch not to knock it around.

Hubby wants to go to MILs villa in florida in September, I have told him if we go there is no way I am leaving the Stokke at home

Our finances go: I pay mortgage and 90% of bills (hubby needs something in his name for ID purposes so he does Council Tax), car, insurances etc and do food shopping and majority of clothes shopping. Hubby does holidays, treats and other stuff that needs doing around the house - he is currently having decking done.
I earn a decent wage consistently, hubby owns his own company so his income depends on how many lads he has got working on however many jobs and whether his clients have paid him or not!

Works for us. It's a bit feast and famine but I manage to keep us afloat most months and then hubby manages to keep me in the manner to which I have become accustomed once or twice a year :)

    Off to bed. xxx

I love my Zia :D apart from the smallness of the shopping basket.

You can get it new with changing bag and footmuff for £99.99 here. http://www.nurseryvalue.com/pushchairs/default.aspx

Or a recon. one for £60.00 here. http://www.nurseryvalue.com/reworked/default.aspx

Glad you're feeling a bit better MFD. Just posting on here often helps.
See, I used to think them type of buggies were !!!!!!, but now I quite like them, I'm too tight to buy another buggy though, I just have this bog standard one but only paid £60 for it http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_37_10751_-1_14051_59976_10001_14051
