Thanks :) that might be better. I don't remember seeing nelsons when I bought the A&P from our local boots.

I'm sure she said that they found them better than the nelsons ones....

Ooo 5 watchers on Ebay items ... how sad am I for being excited about this!!

Right off to take dog for a walk ....typically William is asleep so that should be fun putting his snowsuit on !!

sugarspun - yup getting impatient now! Its more the being in limbo and not being able to go very far or do too much with this daft SPD! Hence the lurking here.

Boogellyboo - wow 17 days already that so not fair! Eviction plans havent really begun in earnest but have tried the odd thing in moderation, DTD, Pineapple and gonna try a gentle walk later this afternoon.

Right, there on the shopping list :)

MFD - have you looked on netmums for a pram - there seems to be a few buggy addicts on my local that list 4/5 at a time

We've got a silvercross pop (for a bargainous £10.50 from ebay) for our holiday buggy/grandma's house

    Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggghhh

I just read a thread where the OP's daughter has a name that's local slang for the ladygarden and it is killing me not to tell the OP. Someone wrestle my laptop from me please.

Now i'm searching threads looking for an OP's daughter called Fufi, Fanny, Fandango, Dorothy Flerkins or any of the other comedy names my daughter has for it. :rotfl:
    Can we have a clue?

I'm sad too then. :o I was listing stuff last night, and withing seconds I had two watchers on one of the items.

I was nice and organised this morning, took DD to school, went and handed in a prescription request at the docs, went to Matalan for sleepsuits & vests then Homebase for a curtain rail and bathroom light switch.

Now i'm trying to decide if I can change the light switch (pully one) without electrocuting myself. If I wait for OH to do it, it'll be dark. :(

Not long now Som, has operation eviction been in place?! My sister was due the same date as Kindof so it seems strange that her DS is 17 days old now, impatient little man just couldn't wait :)

I find it strange that Glam and I were due 2 days apart and there are 5 weeks between the boys! Both term lol

Not much to say for myself today, believe it or not!
OH out the back doing the decking and I need to go over to the school with DD lunch money cos I forgot to give her it this morning

The thread's been removed for spam and the name was Chacha.

Sometimes I think the German naming restrictions are perfectly acceptable.

Thanks SS - i was worrying someone had called their daughter Fandango!

L has called hers Fufi since she was tiny. We were in Boots once, and heard a posh sounding lady shouting "Fufi, where have you gone. Come back here now", when this little blonde toddler came running up to her. L nearly wet herself laughing. :rotfl:

OH is now talking to Molly in Icelandic.
How confusing. And very random - does he have Icelandic family or did he just randomly learn it?
I know this is going to sound a bit silly, but in the last few weeks, i just keep getting an urge to go to church, then DS1 gets placed into a CofE school, and now he says he wants to go on SUnday, do you think it's a sign lol
Doesn't sound silly and you've got nothing to lose by going.
Ok i'm on a housing mission!
I think the local council here are trying to save their stock and are giving alot of false information to women in refuge.
I'm on a crusade to get into housing band A as a priority as I'm legaly homeless and was forced to give up a secure tennancy which is really peeing me off, I dont see why I should be made to go into private renting, I know I should be lucky to have a roof over my head, but I do not feel this gives LA's the right to knowingly mislead people.
Apparently they are putting refuge residents in band B or c! thats rediculous, especially seeing as this particualr one has a maximum stay of 6 months, they expect us to sit here for 4 months beore making a homeless application! then reckon they can find us accomodation in 6 weeks, so basically in my eyes they are dong this so we are being forced to go into the private sector as you cant possibly bid on a 2 week bidding cycle and be successful within 4 to 6 weeks!
That is really bad. I would be wiling to write letters to/e-mail your council about it if you think that would be any use. It must be very frustrating as being in that sitaution you can't exactly go to the press about it. I have a friend who ended up living in a mental hospital for a while because she had nowhere else to go.

Last Wednesday day before being induced , our boiler got condemed by the gas safe man...
Its really getting me down , i broke down on sunday evening , as i am sleeping on the sofa ever since giving birth as our living room has a gas fire and is only room with heating ,

Because I don't use it :o I like to look at it though. I'll use it when LO is bigger, probably won't be into babywearing when he is a toddler!
We managed to get away without using our pushchair but have kept it because if we had a later walker (or a heavier child) I think we would definitely need it.

After an hour and a half wait - for an appointment they booked "so I wasn't just turning up and wouldn't have to wait"!! - we probably had the best blood test ever (iykwim!). Rhys barely cried, doctor got it right first time and it barely took three minutes :D Home for brekkie, now just having a cuppa and getting stuff together to go to my sister's :)

Okay, time to change monkeychops and wrestle her into the sling. Fingers crossed she'll fall asleep on the way.

Have a nice afternoon all :)

Susan, he learned Icelandic because he enjoys languages and likes ones that don't fit into existing language families he already knows. He also speaks Japanese and a couple of others. I hope it's a skill Molly can pick up - but I do want her to have a firm basis in the first two before we start trying to fill her head with more.
