Ooh ooh got my eye on a petite star zia on ebay. It says used 3 times and has a BIN of £65, I reckon that's a good buy - only half an hour away from me too! Although the seller has listed 2 of them - same pic but ending at different times and with a diff BIN of £80??
I love my Ziaapart from the smallness of the shopping basket.
You can get it new with changing bag and footmuff for £99.99 here. http://www.nurseryvalue.com/pushchairs/default.aspx
Or a recon. one for £60.00 here. http://www.nurseryvalue.com/reworked/default.aspx
Glad you're feeling a bit better MFD. Just posting on here often helps.:beer:0 -

So i was paying southern electric, and using scottish powers electricity. Took ages to sort out!
I asked Scottish power about them taking it out and they said no, i would have to pay or get my landlord to do it, which is the council so nay!
Well it's neither of those! But i know we charge £50 to change elec meters & £70 to change gas meters UNLESS:
a) you've moved in within the last 3 months and the meter was the previous tenants (cos you're not supposed to be expected to inherit them, but i know other companies don't offer the same, or
b) you've been supplied by the company at any address for at least 12 months (then we can see you're a good customer etc & are likely to stay with us)
In these cases we would change it for free.
I would phone Scottish Power & ask to speak to their Retentions department. Tell them you've been approached by another company & told they would change your meter free of charge if you changed your supply to them, but you don't really want to change if you can help it so would they be prepared to change it free of charge to keep your custom, especially as you've been a loyal customer of theirs for past 3 years.
p.s. Most of the time your correct supplier can get your payments, even if you're using a different key.:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy0 -
Okay, Becles, newbie_maz and Beenie we seem to be agreed on Saturday 13th March at The Giant's Den so we just need to agree on a time. 10? Or is that too early?
Around 10/10:30 should be fine by me. Although i'm rarely on time for things these days cos still getting used to getting myself & LO ready for a certain time! Especially as she still wants feeding every 2 hours or so when its available, so i feed her when she gets up but she generally wants feeding again after we're all ready before we can leave the house!:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy0 -

Looks a bargain MFD - and lots of good feedback for the same item.
You could be cheeky (like me) and contact one of the buyers of the buggy, and ask them if they still love it after a few weeks use.:beer:0 -

LOL Sami - that's why I need you guys
Silly question time: Why does a holiday buggy need to be small?
We have one of those tiny silly stoller things (my dad gave it to me, he used to use it when he looked after my nephews when they were small) but it didn't lay down and after a week of use the wheel went all wobbly. We walked about 5 miles a day on our last holiday, which is not unusual.
I wish, wish, wish we could take the Stokke but hubby says no for a cheapy flight
Will check the argos one outplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
