off to work later to sort my return to work.

hoping for something close to home but i'm not expecting it as when i looked yesterday at the vacancies section there were none. although sometimes there are enough staff across the region, they just need someone to move. DH shop has a pt foreign exchnage vacancy but we wouldnt be able to have the same time off. manchester city cnetre has a few people on mat leave so might be some vacs there.

cant believe ilm back in 2 months. i just know it will fly by :(

morrrrrrning! hmmmm, very interesting being in a hotel room with a 2 month old baby :o. Let's just say his usual bedtime is 7:30 and he didn't fall asleep properly until after 10! Poor thing would drop off and then wake up absolutely screaming (terrified) 20 minutes later. We did get there in the end, so it wasn't terrible, but of course have to do it all over again tonight.

Thought we might get to go home early, as when the contractor finally showed up yesterday he said it would only take him the day to do it. What he neglected to tell us was there's a 48hr drying time before they could reinstall the toilet, so we got our hopes up for nothing. DH has gone to work and now I'm stuck here - Jenny, I will definitely call you later before Finn & I go stir crazy :D.

So what's going on this morning with everyone else? Come on, entertain me! ;):)
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

I wish, wish, wish we could take the Stokke but hubby says no for a cheapy flight :(

You can gate-check it in the travel bag and it should be fine, it only has to travel down the stairs :)

I'm going to get the travel bag because we always gate check the pushchair (whatever chair) so it avoids the scary check in to plane trip.

My husband would like me to tell you that he is the best husband ever because I'm allowed to buy the travel bag. I am still all snotty and fluey, booooooooooooo.

Good luck at the hospital elle.

MM is the extra physio a good thing? When are you off on your training?

How does lasagne only take 20 minutes? There's mince browning and veg chopping and simmering and cooking down tomato sauce, then making bechamel sauce, then all the construction bit.... HOW?

That's lovely DKAM. My mother did a distance learning GCSE in maths so it can be done :)

Good luck Becles, you can have my motivation for today because I'm likely to just fall right over. And tomorrow I have two three-hour train journeys and an interview to conduct _pale_

I usually leave my pot on the stove for at least an hour to reduce.

I think SM must be a super speedy chopper.

:rotfl: Last night I sent someone on eBay a message asking how old the piano they are selling is. I just got a reply saying it is eleven years old. The manufacturer stopped making pianos in 1976. Maybe piano years are like dog years or something.
