We had a money discussion :cool: on thursday and friday. He didn't believe that i pay out more than him. He pays mortgage and mobile phones (£70 bill, :eek: £15 of which is for my mobile), plus house insurance. All in all around £700 ish.

I pay all other bills, buy all groceries - food, cleaning stuff, nappies, formula etc, petrol, pay for Joes activities (£59 per month). So i did a little spreadsheet and guess what, yes mine comes out at way more than his, didn't even include for the the shortfall for childcare after tax credits and child benefits are put towards it. Vehicle costs (MOT, Road tax), plus all brithday presents that i seem to be the only one that buys.
He does not believe that poll tax / community charge is £119 per month. Wreckons i'm rounding all the costs up. Next stop, copy of my bank statement He is delusional and thinks that i should be loaded every month. He always overspends and comes looking to me for money to get to work (bus) and lunches and cigs and beer money after two weeks. And when mine is gone, that's it i've no where to turn until payday.
We both earn similar amounts basic, except he gets a bonus every month, and can do overtime, so can and does take home alot more than me. But do i see the benefit? Does he offer to pay for Joes swimming, football or judo. Does he hell. The fairies pay for all of that

We just have one joint account where all the money goes in and all the payments come out. I earn way less than him, but can go out and buy stuff if I want as long as there's enough spare money. Neither of us buy expensive things without consulting the other first.

And i know what you mean - I've never had one myself and didn't even know they existed til i started this job - but ever since I started there, I've always said I wouldn't move into a house with a prepayment meter cos they're such a pain! Mind you, saying that, i know some people who wouldn't be without theirs. They're not for me tho.

Scottish Power! 3 years I've been with them, it's who the last tennant was with, I didnt even know I could change :rotfl: Im still waiting for them to send me a new key card (1 year now, 10 days my bum) as Southern electric sent me a key one christmas with £10 on it so I used it, ad they told me to send them my old one so I did, thinking it had been taken over, but it hadnt. So i was paying southern electric, and using scottish powers electricity. Took ages to sort out!

I asked Scottish power about them taking it out and they said no, i would have to pay or get my landlord to do it, which is the council so nay!

Our financal system stems from when we bought our first house at 18 & 19. I got paid monthly and OH got paid weekly. All the DD's were set up on my account and we used OH for groceries and general spends - It was great, it got replenished every thurs :rotfl:

3 houses, a few years and a baby later, it's still kinda of the same Our salaries go into our own accounts (but now both monthly) my account still has the main bulk of the dd's and we use OH's salary for food/petrol. If I need money I draw it out of OH's account or transfer into mine to cover bills.

I keep the spreadsheet and know what's left to go out etc. We don't generally spend very much other than petrol & groceries but if either of us want anything we generally just buy it but discuss most larger purchases, except gifts. Hubby doesn't really have a clue of what goes in and out of the accounts, but I'll tell him if we have a tight month, or we've got car insurance due this month etc and he'll know not to go overboard with the spending

Oh and Keira was an utter moo all the way home from nursery. Screamed the whole way home because I wouldn't pick her up, but I can't, she only weighs 2 stone whatever but my back hurts with it. So she got put in her bedroom, and she started screaming and punching her door, so I went into tell her off and ended up ripping my coat on her door handle :mad: It's along a seam so hopefully sew it back together okay.

She isn't getting cartoons for a 3 days. I'm not putting up with her roaring like a banshee, she said Sorry, and now expects cartoons. Don't think so! She gave me a headache.

SM - not at the moment I don't. I'm catching up on 7 months worth of invoices :mad:

I do my monthly spreadsheet on payday and it tells me if we are going to have a good month or not :rotfl:

Ebay buyer says item not received. I took it to the Post Office on 16 Feb. But can't fine the flipping Certificate of postage. Have sold and posted 11 separate items in Feb, why does it have to be the one of the most value that goes missing?

I can't do spreadsheets. I'd like that plans for when money goes in and out (eg, every 4 weeks thism ever 2nd of the month that) used to have microsoft money but cant get it anymore.

Anyone any ideas?? Financial forecast its called??

was it sent recorded? Im wary of item not received claims. Had a few and as soon as you say 'have receipt will chase it up', it turns up the next day... :cool:
