LOL! They wouldn't open my suitcase would they?? Maybe if I write 'formula' on the top then they will just stick a finger in and taste it! (Rather them than me!!)

I was just gonna take an empty bottle for the flight and buy a carton in the airport. If all else fails I will still have house white ;)

Which reminds me - plan giving up BF has been put on hold until we get back from hols. We go away 4 days after I was supposed to be giving up and I thought that it would be better to carry on for a couple of weeks (with my automatic 'go back to sleep' aids) than to get myself in a situation in a hotel in the middle of the night where I don't know how to calm my child down :o

Now who foresaw that I wouldn't keep to my quit-date??

Do they still make you drink from the bottle if you have one at the gate???? I saw someone doing that last time I was away

After hols is prob more suitable anyway. Don't want to much change/ strangeness at the one time.
  • We are so lucky, my Mum has bought a caravan here http://www.park-resorts.com/park.asp?id=9&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=thorness%20bay%20isle%20of%20wight&utm_campaign=New_IsleofWight&cid=ppc&gclid=COaK75jDk6ACFcJd4wodG3CRdg and I'm so looking forward to taking H.

Whereabouts is Devon cliffs, JM? I love Devon so much. We're going for a few days in April. Staying in a cottage near Exeter.

I still need to sort some airport parking. This holiday lark keeps getting dearer! £160 to kennel the dog, £40 for his boosters before they'll take him, £50 for K's passport, £40 for a buggy, £70ish for parking, £40 fuel for the car to get to the airport, £££££££'s for DD's holiday wardrobe!

£70 for parking!!! I hope you are going for 2 weeks!!

Will you still be there when we get there on 18th?
Sorry to hear of all the arguing with OHs- I haven't argued with DH today but he's got on my nerves. Not his fault though, he's been fine, I'm just tired, hormonal and slightly annoyed/jealous that he's geting full nights sleep, getting to go out to his mates whenever he wants and still going to football 3 times a week leaving me on my own.

My advice is to say now that as A gets older and he can do more to help then you will expect him to help more.
Part of our argument today is that I have run around like an idiot all day and hubby has watched a game of football, a game of rugby, a film and read 2 papers

To be fair, he was watching the kids for some of the time too but it still pees me off that I didn't get a second of 'me' time until gone 9pm...

...can somebody tell me why my baby won't go to sleep anymore?

Dh is back from collecting his mate so I will go and claim my crisps and coke that he was under strict orders to buy me and retreat to the bedroom. He wants to show said mate some things on the computer but we have agreed that because I don't like him taking his mate into our bedroom (and rightly so i think) that he can use my lappy downstairs and I will use his computer upstairs, so best log off and close the hundreds of tabs I have open:D
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Yup! And last time we had a bit of a problem with the 'plum' pouches. Even though they were sealed the guy said that he should, in theory make me open them and taste them or confiscate them.

Then he said he wasn't the kind of man to put a mummy under pressure or deny a baby his food so he 'let me go'

Aw shoite csh - sorry! Did I tell you I have had a bad day!!

  • Thanks MFD. I think we will be having words about it tomorrow as I want him to do more round the house too, and without me having to point it all out. I did ask him on Thursday if at some point this week he could clean the bathroom (it's only been cleaned once since A was born and that was by me, 3 days out of hospital because I wanted it nice for MIL visiting) and he hasn't done it yet.

He gets annoyed when i remind him about things I've asked him to do (because he IS going to do it ) but yet if I don't remind him things don't get done ( again.)

    Hmmm.

Anyway, really going to bed now!!

I just googled it and we've been there. We didn't stay, but went to the Spa for a day. It was lush, but I got barged in on in the changing rooms by a chap!

MFD- I thought plum pouches was slang for something and I was misreading your post!
