  • Evening everyone,

hope everyones ok?? havent posted in a few days so am not gonna attempt to do any personal replies, just hope everyones good!!

was gonna treat myself to a wii fit today then the passenger window in the car got jammed, the electric part inside needs replacing ggrr, FIL has managed to get the glass back up so is ok parked up for now, but incidently the cost of the part is about the same price as a wii fit!! ah wel!

oh and the 25% off clothes at sainsburys is till the end of business on monday i saw a flyer there, cant remember who was wondering about that the other day? got jasmine some gorgeous stuff, i went on a frenzy chucking stuff in the trolley, ended up spending £100!!!:o(and that was after the discount!!!!) got loads of stuf tho, and a few bits for jake,

oh jakes new trick is he can type his name into the computer himself without any clues from me!!! i think thats rather clever for a 3 year old!! he can write it on paper a bit, but gets some of the letters back to front, so cute!!

im thinking of getting jasmine a rocking horse of some sort for her bday, any recommendations?? was gonna get her that fisher price zebra thing but figured a rocking horse would last much longer!

anyway enough waffle from me, xx
  • Aw - lovely fairies bought [STRIKE]an annoying[/STRIKE] a lovely musical birthday bib today!! Thank you scruffy and 3 :D

AF - I think you are after me. Am sure I have your address somewhere.

10 pages since last night and I have had a busy/stressful day (and a row with hubby) so not sure if I will read back or not.

Great-nieces christening tomorrow. Got to be out of the house by 9.30am :(

Am I right in thinking that it would be okay to decant formula powder into another container (tupperware) to take on hols? As I understand it the powder isn't sterile anyway which is why you have to add it to hot (70 degrees +) water...so it doesn't matter how I transport it...does it?

You mentioned dogs in a post tonight so I'm guessing you have some! Do you not feel OK when they are there?

Zac has got more 'guardy' since the baby came. He growls at the door now when he hears crunching on the gravel or any strange outside noises.

Wow, that is some hobby. DH has a few of his own (as do I... in the same "not touching them for months" kind of way) but none that take up so much space or money.

I forgot to say Izzy had a bit of a shock earlier. I had nachos and instead of jalapenos they came with bright red hot peppers. I kept telling her she wouldn't like them but she insisted on trying them. Three times. The first two times she pulled a face spat them out, the third time she burst into tears and had a massive drink of milk - she didn't ask for any more after that :rotfl:.

I'm (within reaon) letting her try what she wants at the moment, to stave of fussiness... that's the idea anyway!

  • YAY - yesterday I emailed an airport parking company that we used last September saying that I was disappointed that I couldn't use them again because they were coming out more expensive. After we used them last time I wrote them a positive review on parkandgo.co.uk (where I found them) so I pointed out my review and asked if they could do anything for me.

They have emailed me with a 20% off code :money:

    YAY!!

Aww Elle hope you're ok, I think everyone gets down days it's normal...you need to get yourself an early night:p

Mother's day is a day before K's birthday(15th)...I honestly can't believe he will be 1:eek: I bet I get naff all, well the kids will make me a card in school but dh won't buy me anything or treat me in any way!!

We are off to Haven on the 29th March for 5nts I can't wait and the kids are so excited, only problem is we booked a deluxe static and have now found out we can't take the dog as they only allow pets in standard statics, the guy checked about but there was nothing else available so we now need to beg my mum/sis/mil....to dog sit!!

I still don't know whether to buy this tent or not!! I just think it might be a bit expensive for something that doesn't get much use! It is one I have wanted for aaaages, but is £350/£450bin (although they cost £1400new) Might take the sensible option and buy a cheaper one....

Doesn't matter what its in. Some people might tell you to steralise the new container. I wouldn't :p

You going abroad? Thinking on it white powder in a tub in a suitcase going on a plane might not be the cleverest of ideas..........maybe you should take a sealed tub!
  • which haven are you going to mel as we'r going to haven on 29th march as well! we're goin to devon!

Yep should be fine, everywhere sells those little containers for taking the exact measurements of powder out and about as no longer meant to make up bottles in advance....so an airtight tupperware pot would be fine, only thing is if you are going on a plane they might be funny as the powder wouldn't be identifiable....could you not just buy ready made cartons or a small tin of powder as I think they also like stuff to be sealed!!
