grrrrrrr someone tell my Husband that he can got to the frickin shop on his frickin own since he just had a sleep on the sofa while I dealt with a cranky Ambertronic. Bloody lazy arsed git so he is. (plus I'm in a prophetic bad mood because I won't get a long lie on Mothers Day)
  • Evening lovelies. We've had a fab afternoon at my mum's. My niece and nephew (3yo and 1yo) are staying there and they are so cute. My mum and I were talking about OBEM being filmed at the Princess Anne hospital (where mum had me and I had H) and niece piped up- I've seen Princess Anne. We asked her where, and she said Princess Anne the Frog (princess and the frog). So cute!

Happy Anniversary SS! Glad the meal was good, sorry you've argued.

Csh- glad the buggy is good. Was it a mega-bargain?

Things I never thought I'd do before I had H? I'm another who never thought I'd have a CS, right up until they put me in a gown. I never thought I'd care so much about BFing as I do. I never thought having a baby would be so amazing or that his little smile would light up my life so, so much. And I never thought I'd be so certain about wanting another just three months after the birth!

  • Tell him 'I told him he has to do as you tell him' , Tia Not that I think for a second he would listen to some random lady from the t'internet! :rotfl:

How come you wont get a lie in on mothers day? (Sorry if I missed it earlier)

 I've had a "go to sleep" song I sang to Elijah just for the length of carrying him into the nursery and putting him in his cot, for nearly his whole life! Now suddenly when I'm carrying him and start singing it, even if he is basically asleep in my arms, he perks up and joins in it with shouting LA LA LAA at the top of his voice! The cheek! :p

MIL told me she used to sing to OH every night, same song. One night when he was about 3 he put his hand over her mouth and said 'I'm ready to sleep now, you can stop singing'. Its amazing what stays with you over the years. These little things shape our memories of our babies :A

We managed to have a little disagreement on the way back over OH "innocently" commenting that by the time Molly's old enough to need a dentist we'll be in a different part of the city. I think we need a different city, since I'm extremely unlikely to find another job here and didn't spend a decade in university only to requalify. Hence the argument :o

Baby screaming. OH dealing with it. Me simmering.

Just so I'm following cos my head is minced with the cold. You need to move city/country for job and long term OH thinks you are all staying in same place? How 'portable' is his job?
    EDIT: have now seen rant!

Cat is gone :(:(:(:( It's been a week now so i highly doubt she'll be back. Ex did his tarzan call that he trained the cats to come to (lol), and she still didn't appear. She must be dead :(:(:(:(

Aw, I'm sorry. :( We have 2 strays in our street, want some fairy mail?

I don't mind a Saturday but can't do Sundays - don't know about other people though.

So that gives us current options of:
    Tuesday
    Wednesday
    Friday
    Saturday

I could do some Saturdays but it would depend what week as do family visiting etc some weekends.

Think so! Not very up on second hand buggy prices but it was £9.99. Its a Graco 3 wheeler with cosytoes and raincover and was in great condition and very clean (when I got it.....)
