I still don't know whether to buy this tent or not!! I just think it might be a bit expensive for something that doesn't get much use! It is one I have wanted for aaaages, but is £350/£450bin (although they cost £1400new) Might take the sensible option and buy a cheaper one....
I got wine, will that do?*hic*
When do you need the tent for?0 -
My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »YAY - yesterday I emailed an airport parking company that we used last September saying that I was disappointed that I couldn't use them again because they were coming out more expensive. After we used them last time I wrote them a positive review on parkandgo.co.uk (where I found them) so I pointed out my review and asked if they could do anything for me.
They have emailed me with a 20% off code :money:
YAY!!

I still need to sort some airport parking. This holiday lark keeps getting dearer! £160 to kennel the dog, £40 for his boosters before they'll take him, £50 for K's passport, £40 for a buggy, £70ish for parking, £40 fuel for the car to get to the airport, £££££££'s for DD's holiday wardrobe!0 -

You mentioned dogs in a post tonight so I'm guessing you have some! Do you not feel OK when they are there?
Zac has got more 'guardy' since the baby came. He growls at the door now when he hears crunching on the gravel or any strange outside noises.
I don't worry about break-ins or anything with him about!
Yeah I have two staffys but to be honest one of them, (Roxy) is useless where 'protection' is concerned she would probably lick someone to death but thats about it. I know Brandy would protect me with a passion shes mine and loves me to bits but if she hears anyone walking past the house too loud then she can get a bit growly when Tom isnt here, so freaks me outCant help it Im just a freak LoL. Suppose it doesnt help that the two houses to the left are empty as of today and I find the couple on the other side seriously strange. Now that my neighbours have gone I dont know anyone round here.

I forgot to say Izzy had a bit of a shock earlier.
Mostly I look on the bright side, it isn't the sort of hobby where he effs off for hours at a time and he doesn't bring home sweaty clothing and expect me to wash it. But I do get effed off when there's a whole room in the apartment devoted to his boogery machines that could be a bedroom for a baby whose clothes and stuff are set up in our living room so the living room is permanently messy and unfinished.
Someone came round to pick up a few baby things a couple of weeks ago and commented while she was in there, Oh, are you just moving in? because of the state of it. No, actually we're not, I just have a husband who will not let things go, whether they are clothes of his deceased mother (I wrangled them into the ebay bag today), broken machines he hasn't used in years or a bottle of Coke that is now see-through from sun exposure and old age.
 Poor Izzy!

Evening all
Just posting and running as going to bed now.
Happy anniversary SS, happy birthday WM and (((hugs))) for all those not feeling too good tonight
Sorry to hear of all the arguing with OHs- I haven't argued with DH today but he's got on my nerves. Not his fault though, he's been fine, I'm just tired, hormonal and slightly annoyed/jealous that he's geting full nights sleep, getting to go out to his mates whenever he wants and still going to football 3 times a week leaving me on my own.
Anyway A is asleep in his room again so I am going to try and get an hour or 2's sleep before he needs feeding again.0 -
Doesn't matter what its in. Some people might tell you to steralise the new container. I wouldn't
You going abroad? Thinking on it white powder in a tub in a suitcase going on a plane might not be the cleverest of ideas..........maybe you should take a sealed tub!
LOL! They wouldn't open my suitcase would they?? Maybe if I write 'formula' on the top then they will just stick a finger in and taste it! (Rather them than me!!)
I was just gonna take an empty bottle for the flight and buy a carton in the airport. If all else fails I will still have house white
Which reminds me - plan giving up BF has been put on hold until we get back from hols. We go away 4 days after I was supposed to be giving up and I thought that it would be better to carry on for a couple of weeks (with my automatic 'go back to sleep' aids) than to get myself in a situation in a hotel in the middle of the night where I don't know how to calm my child down
Now who foresaw that I wouldn't keep to my quit-date??please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

When do you need the tent for?
Probably April/May...I want to go and visit family down south before baby is due as I doubt I would be bothered for a good few months afterwards otherwise and there is too many of us to be put-up now:o We have done camping for years although only have a 4berth tent...I now want an 8 berth to sleep us all and have storage space for 6 peoples belongings, plus big fat dog!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
