OMG this husband on OBEM - he's such a bastage!
"Can you not handle the pain?!"
I read something that suggested that women will only give birth when they feel safe. It's no wonder that her first labour stalled if he behaved like this then GRROrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

OH hated that bit - I had to point out that if the baby had died then they wouldn't have been showing it. Made me  about cord cutting because if they didn't cut the cord then baby would still have oxygen supply through placenta/cord.
Kieren came out like that and was pure blue. They cut the cord straight away and took him away to resus. I have to say as a parent in that situation I would want the cord cut so they could work on him properly. I don't know much about blood flow and oxygen flow and stuff but, if they had started 'working' on him while he was still attached (as it were) I would have been even more hysterical than I already was.
I can't imagine them telling parents about the oxygen supply in the cord and them taking it in at the time IYKWIM?0 -
Does anyone use Heinz baby milk? They are thinking of discontinuing it:

Just commenting on the new cars...must be the season as we are also getting a new car....still not 100% decided but still looking at the Mercedes that caz pointed me in the direction of, I also like the Chrysler Grand Voyager:D It would be easier if I could find a dealer and get a trade in for our current car as we would need ot sell our to get the money towards the new car but then can't get anywhere to pick up a new one!!
Oh yes, we can, but it would mean me going on the back of the motorbike and finding someone to mind the kids while we went....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Phew - off to fetch Josh in a minute then straight to childminders to fetch Caitlyn. Have survived better than I thought. I've tidied, hoovered, washed up, sorted her clothes drawer out and had the music channel on really loud! And I didn't cry! Although I'm picturing her at the minute because she'll be out in the puschair with Penny doing the school run - she's never been in a different pushchair before
When did I get so soppy??!

Hi Csh,
Been trying to post for about 2 hours since returned from docs. Really sorry to hear about your friend. Really awful news, particularly when it's someone so young with a young family. x
Welcome back Bruno. Really sorry to hear about your OH and E. It sounds horrendous. Poor E. And poor you for having to clean up the mess. x0 -

I got a trade in, well more of a swap really, on my car. Only problem being that I had to drive to Darlington for the car, from just outside Edinburgh!
They wanted about £300 for low loader to transport up so the :money: in me made me drive down for it in the Smart, swap, and drive back lol0 -
