Have they moved Cheshire again. Last time I was there it was In INGERLAND.
I use to work in Warrington (that's how my madness started!) but my heart sank every time i drove past the sign 'Welcome to Cheshire, England'
Now if you go back to my posting about caravans - dont start me on caravans!!
back in the 80's when I used to come home at weekends it used to take 4 hours to travel 80 or so miles!
There would be convoys of them in the summer and you could not overtake them anywhere.0 -
The madness is it contagious, similar to a virus or enviromental, what are the signs,I worked in Warrington for a period perhaps it was enough.
The M56 best motorway in England, leads to Wales, full of caravans, some are heading the other way to the lakes.

Yeah they do now in most regions.
I think Pwllheli/Abersoch might still be dry.
The concrete roads that use to make up the start of the M56 used to play havock with the suspension of my old Mini!0 -
Had to contribute to this thread for anyone thinking about visiting North Wales. I regularly take the family to Colwyn Bay/Llandudno area. For the best beach ask to be directed to the West Shore and take fishing nets etc. there is a play area nearby and a toilet and the kids will be happy for hours. For activities we use Eirias Park in Colwyn Bay a lot. It has a leisure centre with swimming with a good slide. The Park has pedaloes, play area and a great modern tennis centre (courts £3 something for an hour) with racquet hire £1.
Rhos on Sea is lovely - you can watch the watersports. Go and have a coffee or ice cream and sit outside at Nino's restaurant on the front.
Lovely B and B https://www.hafan-y-mor-guesthouse.co.uk in Llandudno
Also the youth hostel at Conwy is great with large self-catering facilities. Conwy castle great fun. Sometimes they enact times past which everyone will love.0
