DazedByTheLight wrote:Hi, I too am going (god willing) to Anglesey, setting off tomorrow, and coming back Thursday night.
My plan is to tour the island, spending a day each at Holy Island, Newborough, and Benllech and surrounding areas.
How does that sound? I have recently had an operation so won't be able to do anything energetic but just going for the views and sea air!
Seems ok.
If by Holy Island you mean South Stack lighthouse remember there are 365 steps down to it and up again!!
There's a Maritime musuem in Holyhead which is worth seeing.0 -

and Anglesey, some nice beaches there. Climb Snowdon?
Two tourists were driving through Wales. As they were
approaching Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town's name. They argued back and forth until they stopped for lunch.
As they stood at the counter one tourist asked the
waitress
"Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are ...very slowly?"
The girl leaned over the counter and said, "Burrrrrrr, gerrrrrrr,Kiiiiiiing."sometimes you're the pigeon, sometimes you're the statue!0 -
