sigh...I am going to put chloe to bed and start work again after my distraction of trying to put bar stools together...

I have had a beer, wonder if I have enough calories left for a creme egg...

Beanie....the only way I have managed to lose weight apart from cambridge is to look at food as fuel and not as a treat or emotion filler....
    .....
so I try not to think about food inbetween food times, which means being prepared for meals. Not going food shopping when hungry and as Ames says not denying yourself anything if you really want it

I always find telling myself I can't have it makes me want it more...

I'm just doing the "eat less exercise more thing" since I NEVER feel full usually due to the tablets and them messing with my "I'm full" trigger. However, I am actualy starting to feel full now, as I'm eating at proper times and not grazing all the time, and if I do graze, it's on salty popcorn as I adore it and the odd choccy - athough me and chocy hate each other as it made me ill yesterday and I never usually am. I think it's a sign so I'll stick to sugar free Polos and jelly for my sweet fix. It's made harder by I can only eat gluten and lactose free cack, so I eat double the protein to make up for it. Oh, and uni days I walk about 10-12 miles a day, and am trying to sort myself out on non-uni days - which is where the bike and iPod come in. My plan is, if I can ride to Asda, I get a bottle of Pepsi Max as a treat.

Ames, I now have a mental image of you floating in the sea of clothes and bobbing up and down shouting help. And getting attacked by the shoe shark

I'm a gluten/lactose free person too elfen, makes money-saving and healthy eating a pain in the neck because it's so hard to work out calories.

Hmm, handbag not in bedroom, but I did find a full unopened packet of oreos, so at least some good came of it. Although I realised that piling up all the washing behind the door was a bad idea, although if I get sick of the inconvenience I might actually get it done.

Starting to get a bit worried about where my handbag is now...

Sammy that's good advice. I try to look at my body as a machine and feed it good fuel (by and large) and oil my joints with a bit of exercise. I'm usually heavier in winter and lighter in summer but don't worry about it too much.

I judge where I am by how my clothes fit and stay away from scales at all cost. The problem with scales is that they tell me a number and I know that number will never be low enough. If it wasn't low enough at 6 and a half stone (when I was 14) when will it be?
