Morning - brr it's chilly and breezy this morning - my hat blew off on the way to work!

Apart from the fact I'm at work I am rather smiley today - hope everyone else is :)

Nice today because DH is back at work so can potter along and REST without him giving me grief.

My 2 are on a school trip to B'ham today to see 'The Snowman' at the B'ham Rep theatre and I am really stressing about it-its a good 50 min drive on a coach on the M6 and it scares me...I know I am being silly but I have been worried about it. They are both dead excited. Do we grow out of this fellow Mom's?

    Hi everyone

Bunny....I don't think us moms ever stop worrying- but I do think it gets a little easier as they get a bit older!!!!

Day off today.....and payday!! Have sorted out my budget, taken the boys to school and am now waiting for the dishwasher repair man who is due between now and 5pm (really helpful time slot!)

Mr S due with shopping too.....what an exciting life I lead! Lol

Am going to try and do some sorting out (in case our move ever does go through!) and a bit of cleaning - oh the joys.

Have a great day everyone xx

  • Morning all!

Three guesses what I'm doing today. (Give us the rolls eyes smilie back! :D ) That's right, yet more essays. But first I've got petrol to buy and a cheque to pay into the bank. Then a Islam seminar at 1 and a meeting of the uni's knitting society at 3:30. Then back home and back on the laptop. Best run, I need toast before I go out.

Thanks Brummiebabe, I think you may be right-DS just seems to little to be going all that way without us...

  • Morning all,

I'm feeling very happy today - lost a 1lb on our weekly weight in. :D Also tomorrow is pay day and my OH has got my a new Laptop for my OU course!

The studying is going ok, writing my assignment even though it's not due until March. I want to try and keep ahead - so fingers crossed.

    Hugs to anyone!

    Morning all

Bunny - I still worry daily about my 2 - they both travel over 8 miles each way on buses.....very hard to let go.

Got DD2 home today with a sinusy headache - she looks like death warmed up so she's tucked up in bed.

DH is having a mega-bad day, he couldn't even open the shampoo....got him sorted and dressed and have tucked him on the sofa with the tv remote.

Mr T's just delivered, it's all put away, 3/4 of the ironing is done but I need a coffee break before I tackle the rest.

Beef cassarole in the SC for tonight - will make some spicy dumplings to go with it....yums.
