Was too wrapped up in my own problems to comment...
I am back now.
Just realised my OH's contract runs out the end of next week. Don't know whether to be glad or not. Not sure where he will end up next.
Aww, thats OK hun. I realise my clothes issues arent the only issue round here
Glad you got the bar stools sorted :T

Yes I do Spud, you are tall ( not 'big'!) and wide horizontal stripes in muted colours would work well, boots a definite though.

Wow, a man who understands fashion... your wife is either very lucky or very confused!FIRST , get wine.:D
Get the correct tools, not just a shoe and a dinner knife! Make them on a rug or carpet to prevent scratching.
Put everything within reach.
Drink more wine.
Sit on floor.:D
Hehe, it took me years to realise that a shoe and dinner knife don't work as well as real tools... at least now my shoes don't get ruined so quickly!Just had to de-lurk to say Maz's thread has disappeared - hope she is ok. She had a 'nice helpful' newbie posting comments on there in the middle of the night
Oh no, hope she's alright and that the newbie got what they deserved.
Elfen, I was on the phone to the council to get them to come and take away my old sofa, chair and tv. They're coming on the 16th.
Well, I haven't done any OU stuff but I've had a very productive day. I finally posted off my renewal form for the parking permit, it runs out on sunday though so I hope I don't get ticketed before they send the new one. Finally been into town for bread. Done a big tesco online order, including stuff for sister to batch cook some lasagne and moussaka for me (not that I'm taking advantage of her being desperate to do some proper cooking or anything!), arranged for the council to come, and checked what info I need tomorrow for my SS financial assessment. Hopefully the motivation thing will stay for a few days!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
