Another NSD for me on Monday (sorry, catching up still!) so that makes 4/10 now!! :D

Thought i'd managed a 5th yesterday, but then realised I'd been into Mr T's on the way home! Memory loss as well as wrinkles, oh the joys of getting old...

Oh, are you going to see the HB at the Lowry? We were at the Trafford Centre a couple of weeks ago and they were there signing books. We ran out of time to stay and see them but I wish we could have done. Have really enjoyed the series.

Going to see them at the throbbing metropolis which is Grimsby Auditorium!
getting very very excited now :D

....clarified my own NSD rules....as I was confusing myself as to whether that was 'allowed'.
....I know some people count everything, and I've tried this, but have ended up quite demotivated....Welcome your thoughts xx
Yep m'dear, your rules are the only ones that you need to put in order for this Challenge, because--as you can see from the replies--we all have vastly differing life-styles & demands, to have a 'one-size-suits-all' approach.
I can only speak from my own experience in that this Challenge has taught me an awful lot about how I spend. It was definitely high-lighted last week when Mum mislaid her keys & I mentally went over our journey after leaving the car. I immediately called the two shops we'd been in & thought that would leave the Bank for the next morning, but when I actually 'replayed' the walk in my mind's eye it became very obvious that there were other stops we'd made & I hadn't really registered those at all. It may not sound like a similar situation, but I'd bought something in at least two of those places & that is what NSDs are doing for me now; holding me accountable for every spend I make.
I've not explained myself at all well I know, but it makes sense to me :o
    Hi all,

  • Hiya! :hello:

I'm new to this whole forum and this will be my first ever post! :o

I like the look of this challenge and would like to participate even though February is already almost half way though!

I'd like to be ambitious so can you please put me down for 8 NSD's this month.

    Thanks!

  • Well done to everyone so far this month:T

I haven't posted for a few days but am now up to 7 NSD's.

The baking has been very successful, made a couple of banana and walnut loaves. I hate bananas when they start to go ripe and it was grieving me to keep throwing them away (freezing them wasn't an option as i really don't like banana ice cream-like things).

Fortunately they haven't made a negative dent in my weight loss challenge (although i haven't lost any either :()

Have got to go to Mr T's tomorrow to pick up a half price pressure washer for my Dad from the Mr T Direct counter. But i'm determined to stay focused and not buy anything. As the counter is right by the door i'm going to run out as soon as i've collected it (well run as fast as a big box full of pressure washer & attachments will let me):rotfl:

  • At last I have managed to get another NSD - I am really struggling this month as have got so much on but hey just need to try harder.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone
