I have been a long time lurker and I thought it was about time to say thanks to all on this board. Your ideas have helped over the past weeks get my life in to order.
I stop buying my lunch (either at the works sandwich man or the local Tesco metro) and started taking lunch in from home. I am so amazed at how much less i have spent to 2 weeks, Beasue i don't need Cash at lunch time or need to pop in to town i have lost the urge to spend everyday. :T
I haven't run out of ideas yet! I don't think i will. But i have found a webite with great Pictures and loads of ideas for meals.

Well, better late than never. ALthough some might disagree.
Got over to Harrogate, met a friend for cuppa, then got to the sewing shop before it closed for a couple of bits, then did a couple more jobs before meeting another friend for a meal before our meeting. Meeting, drink with a few, then stayed over at friend's house.
Met friend 3 for breakfast this morning and a mooch around the shops. Got a couple of bits in lakeland and friend introduced me to The WHite Company. Never been there before, might have been better if I hadn't today. I can't say that the Beautiful wool and cashmere cardi was exactly MS, but I will get a lot of wear out of it I think. It's so soft, I think people will want to cuddle me! Friend got a pair of very reduced linen trousers, so she was pleased.
Came home, still waiting for parcel of sewing to arrive. My boss said that PO had tried to deliver on Monday and left a card. Well I was in all day on Monday waiting for the postie and no card was left. Went to the sorting office but they couldn't find it there. gave me a customer service number. I went through their menus several times as my circumstances didn't seem to be described on their menus. A rather overly person calling herself Sarah read the menus out very loudly. Grrrr.
Eventually got to talk to A Person who assures me that the post office will deliver my parcel withing 48 hours (hang on a minute lady, I've over 50 hours work in the package to sort out, been waiting for it since Monday!) or the sorting office manager will ring me and let me know when I can collect. This is all very well, but both these rely on them being able to find the wretched thing.
I'm rather frustrated about this! I wanted to sew the beginning of the week when I didn't have work and had some free time. Now dd is coming home for a long weekend and we have things to do."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Evening everyone
A late one from me too. Have read through the thread a bit at a time and never had chance to post. Ds2 has been very lively and noisy today, his tutor came and did an hour with him. I really need him back at school but will have to wait till tomorrow and see if the consultant will allow him back next monday. If so then I will be back at work on Tuesday, how am I ever going to fit everything into the evenings again!
Had hm soup for lunch and finished off sausage casserole for dinner. Made 2 weetibix cakes yesterday but 1 has nearly all gone, just too nice with butter. WM has been on and managed to get abt more sorting done.
Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one. Sleep well.

Well done :T you have now started on the road to getting away from commercialism. You are probably eating far healthier too because you think about what you are actually eating not just grabbing something off the shelf xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
