Morning chums, blooming chilly again this morning ,just done the school run and the boys are all saying they have had enough of the winter and when will it get warmer and we can have some sunshine. I have to pick DGD up shortly as I do her college run for her on a Wednesday as well I don't mind really as I can drop her off and go on the the Uni library for a couple of hours study which is nice.
Very warm in there as well, so will soon get stuck into my books.Hit a bit of a brick wall with my latest essay at the moment.
I think I will have some lamb chops for dinner tonight so I'd better get them out of the freezer before I go.Hope everyone has a good day today
Take care all and wrap up warm

Morning.
Been busy this morning. Up with the larks (thanks kids). Somerset sausage casserole prepped and in SC. My mum took DD to supermarket with her and DS and I went for a walk over the local fields. OMG it is cold and I had my thermals on (leggings and vest) Had a lovely walk though, was nice for me and DS to have a bit of time together on our own. Doesn't happen very often. Went and saw his favourite field which is one where a local farm grows all the Christmas Trees they sell. DS keeps mentioning Christmas - poor thing doesn't have a clue how long he's got to wait til December :rotfl:
H been sent home from work as he's got a bad back (welcome to my world) and he's got a physical day tomorrow so they have sent him home to rest. He did the rest of the ironing last night so that's something out of the way.
Got to clean the bathroom and change the towels which I shall do in a mo.
Diva - Hugs to you. Hope you get your "stuff" sorted out xx
snoozer - Crossing my fingers for your biopsy - have a chill out day xx
Ladyshopper - hope your DD is feeling better soon. Enjoy your new role.
nimbo - when you've cooked a whole chicken before do you stab it and check the juices are running clear? Best way to know it's cooked properly and therefore no salmonella.
taplady - fingers crossed for DS2 exam and hugs to your H - hope he's feeling better soon xx
Hester - I do hope you pointed out that it's the companies fault for building inadequate machinery as it can't cope with normal usage
remmie - well done on the whoopsies :T Whenever I check out the RTC in Mr S it's got a maxium of about 60p of most things (and even then it just tends to be ready meals) - that's not my idea of a bargain.
Redruby - hope you've got over your nightmare.
Wrap up warm. Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

On the subject of nightmares - I had one last year that was so vivid (I was on motorway and went over the side and could remember each and every detail including the time and temperature on the display on the dash, and the overwelming sadness that came over me as I though of DH and kids) its left me with a bit of a fear of driving over bridges. For days after when I closed my eyes I could see the view as I headed down. Freaky.

Hugs Diva, I hope every thing is okay for you very soon.
I missed the last two days on here. very busy decluttering still. My family room is possible to walk through, at last.
Today I have an appointment with the local chamber of trade to see how we go setting up a business properly. DH has been self employed for a long time but I want to have some involvement or possibly a seperate business.
Everyone seems to be finding it colder today but we have the balmy temerature of 4degreesC. Warmer than it has been since mid November.
snoozer I hope your appointment goes well and there is nothing to worry about.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Have the doctors given your friend any idea about whether the incontinence will sort itself out, or is it permanent? It's a horrible thing to live with, at any ageThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -

i do the juices running clear thing, but can't ring myself to use the rest of the meat for anything else that will be eaten if i have cooked it, and as i live alone basically most of the chicken goes to waste....
if i but one pre-cooked than i pick the carcass clean, but i haven't tried to make stock yet...
As to whoopsies, was at asda the other night, and there some awesome bargins on bread that i had a few of, and cream cakes that i managed to ignore.... (i still feel sad, and yet proud that i did that...)
was just wondering if any one had any good soup recipies? i have made carrot and lentil soup 2 weeks running for my work lunches, and feel it may be time for a change...
i am into VERY simple cooking if that would be OK...:):)
