This is our first month of properly trying, I came off the pill in July and it took till January for my cycles to fall into a pattern. I am a 28 day cycle girl.

Had my last period on 16th April although spotted from 14th April. On 27th April (which I counted as day 10) had awful pains in my right ovary and some egg whitey discharge in my knickers so using conceive plus (marvellous stuff) did the deed, also did it on day 12, 13,14,16 and 17. Do you think I have done it on the right days. Should we still carry on doing it. Thanks for your help.

Also with my random symptom spotting my right breast is so painful, not to touch but when I walk around or bend down it feels like it is bruised, I have also felt very bloated and had a bit of a funny tummy.

If you go for the rubella I would check with the nurse about TTC. I was advised if I needed it I would have to wait 3 months before TTC again.

I think it's to do with building up the immunity and ensuring any little bean isn't affected by the vaccine.

Thanks FairyShazza, if one gets the dates right, does one usually fall pg on their first try I wonder? (If there is no underlying problem obviously;)).

GTS, hope the volcano behaves itself. In this modern day and age, why can't one put a plug in that volcano?

Sruben, fingers crossed you've caught the egg:)

Not sure about your counting, if your first proper period day was 16th April, then I think 27th would have been day12, but having said that, it sounds like you've still covered all possible OV days anyway.
Should you still carry on? Up to you....its not JUST for making babies! :)
It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

GFH - Blimey, your cycle sounds even more confusing than EA :D Is AF just showing for a day or something?

Thats exactly it, since M/C. No hurry now thought as to conceive before December would be 3k more expensive with maternity leave (teacher).

Woohoo, another jockey!! I evented to up until a few years ago - I wound down when I went to University - I didnt really have the right horse to do it seriously after I'd finished and I'm very competitive so wouldnt do it if I wasnt in with a chance! I still love it though, in fact I was at Badminton when you posted this (albeit, doing more shopping than watching the horses!)

And me, though weigh too much to ride at the mo.

GTS happy holidays and thanks for the comment about the PMA, I think you're right, we are being more cheerful and energetic (it must be spring!)
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
