Why not at least wait till you get your first AF?

    Hello gals :)

    Hope everyone is well.

EA - I know, it sucks seeing a BFN!!! Been there, done that lol. At least you have DD to keep your mind off it. Fingers crossed you get BFP or AF soon so that you know what's going on with your cycles!

GFH - Blimey, your cycle sounds even more confusing than EA :D Is AF just showing for a day or something?

MV and Mi3 - Fingers crossed for you both. I really, really, really hope that you both get BFPs in the next few days x

Well, its CD13 for me and as thought I got my first peak on my CBFM. I'm a little peeved because my cycles are regular at 27 days, and without CBFM I would have used my FF App which pin points CD13 as ov day anyway. So all in all, I don't really think that the CBFM has done much for me :(

I can't decide whether to dtd tonight or not. We did it yesterday afternoon so I want the sperm to build up to a good quality, but at the same time, I want to give myself every chance of catching the egg! I can feel ov cramps, so maybe I'll just go for it. Obv, is DH is willing :D

Off to see DH's accountant this afternoon and am not looking forward to it. He will tell me off for not telling him sooner that I got made redundant. Ooops :o

Hope you all have a wonderful day. Hugs and sticky stuff to all x

I'm due May 10th - so neck and neck with MV to be the first CBFM gal this month, except that well I'm pretty positive it's not going to be me.

I don't put myself on the testing list because I don't test (decided from the outset would only test if I was over a week late which has never happened).

Im due 10th May too!!! Yeah!! Were so in sync!!
MSE has changed me for the better!!
    DD1 arrived 15/5/11, ]

I even feel sad when i see other peoples BFN's! Thats what OH said, if it takes longer this time at least i have her. But i'll still be sad :(

I'd rather AF came first so i can date any pregnancy properly. And also, you lot deserve a bfp way more than me! :)

We ALL deserve a BFP, we all want to hold a new babba in our arms and give them a life filled with love, else we wouldn't be here.
    BFPs for EVERYONE! Yay. :j
It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

I ran until 7 months with no problems (and evented and showjumped my horse as well, but wouldn't have done if I'd known I was pg), cycled until my bump put me off balance, and swam all the way through til he was born. All this was with the blessing of GP and midwife. They even encouraged me to carry on riding, albeit at a more sedate pace than before.

Woohoo, another jockey!! I evented to up until a few years ago - I wound down when I went to University - I didnt really have the right horse to do it seriously after I'd finished and I'm very competitive so wouldnt do it if I wasnt in with a chance! I still love it though, in fact I was at Badminton when you posted this (albeit, doing more shopping than watching the horses!)

Just looking at all the talk about CBFM and am very tempted but couldn't afford one in the shops. They seem to be from £50 on ebay (some new and sealed ones at about this). Just wondered (as I'm not quite sure how they work) would anyone buy one on ebay?? I'm put off by the idea that someone else's wee would be in a used one, but is that right or does it just touch the test sticks??

As the others have said, there is no problems on wee contamination front () - the only thing to look out for is to make sure that the memory is erased because it stores your last 6 cycle results to compare with and obviously you wouldnt want it comparing your cycle to someone elses. It is possible to erase the memory but I'm not sure how. I decided to pay a bit more and get a brand spanker so that I had the peace of mind :o

:hello: Hi to all the new MSE TTCers, welcome to the club and I hope you graduate soon :)

CD10 for me and 3rd high day according to CBFM - no BD'ing just yet because circumstances havent allowed but I'm not giving up yet! I'm expecting a few more high days before I see a peak but it is my first CBFM month so I might be in for a surprise.

Hope nobody minds but I'm just having a quick overview of the difference in this months cycle whilst using the CBFM.

    Last Few Cycles

CM always creamy up until CD13
    Water CM usually between CD13 – CD15
Fertility Friend usually predicts ov on CD15 / CD16
OPK usually registers as positive around CD13 or 14 and then stays positive till it fades in the afternoon of CD15 or 16
Ovulation is usually confirmed via temping on CD15
CM returns to creamy on either CD15 or CD16

    This Cycle

CM has been creamy up until CD11 - Monitor shows High
    CM turned Creamy/Watery CD12 / 13 – Monitor Shows Peak
    OPK negative on CD13
CM turned watery on CD14 – Monitor Shows High

Will see what my opk does when I get home tonight - am hoping it gives me a smiley face. If the CBFM is right for me this will prove that I have been concentrating on the wrong time of the month as we usually tend to centre the majority of our bd’ing around CD14/15/16 :o

That would fit in as when I got my BFP last time it was as the result of bd’ing on CD12 in that cycle. Although it is slightly worrying that if I am ov'ing around CD13 that my CM seems to be going against me as it is usually still relatively creamy then :(
