Hello ladies

Wow, you have all been busy chatting this weekend haven't you?

Well a quick one from me, officially it is CD29 for me but I think my AF arrived on thurs (remember I posted I had some bleeding?). So i have no idea what is happening. MMc says I was Ov last monday then AF arrives on thurs?

It isn't like normal AF's I normally spot for a few days then get full on AF with serious cramps etc which i class as CD1. This AF has gone without a hitch, not really noticed it, no cramps nothing
Also I used OPKs every day from last AF and according to them I havent OV'd.

What's making it worse is this week it's 12 months since we stopped using contrception and so I'm now convinced there's something wrong with me? I'm supposed to be going for a smear tomorrow (I had stage3 abnormal cells 7 years ago and so have to have a smear every 12 months. Had a major op to remove them which I'm convinced has affected my fertility.) Anyway have had to cancel that.

Oliviasmummy - your cycle seems to be a bit erratic too, this one I'm on must be 26 days for me but MMC says my average is 35?

Make it 3 - I'm not trusting the cheap OPKs either and so am considering CBFM. Where on ebay did you get it? How much was it?

dustystar02, are you sure it was an AF and not implantation bleeding?
How was your temp? Did it drop with your AF? Did you test?

As for ttc for 12 months, you only started to actively ttc since Jan 2010, so I don't think you qualify as ttc 12 months+?

Well i'm assuming it is AF as not sure what else it can be. Implantation would be too early if I ov'd on monday? Plus I don;t think it should last 5 days. I don't test temp so no idea. May risk a PG test tomorrow morning just to be sure.

i know we haven't actively been trying since last feb but I'm one of those girls that was convinced it would happen straight away for her and so as nothing has happened for 12 months it's a milestone to acknowledge and feel miserable about . Ignore me, I'm just very down today and didn;t sleep well last night at all. *sloping back into my corner until I'm in a better mood.*

Dusty - try not to get down hearted, I am sure you will get there. It may be worth speaking to doctor considering your op to remove cells. I gad similiar op and am sure it makes ttc more difficult. Sending pma thoughts to you.

OPKs don't always give results for some people. When I've used them I *think* I got a positive once. But I know I ov as I've had blood tests to confirm this. Testing for LH levels can be really hit and miss. If your cycle isn't "textbook" you can miss the peak very easily.

If they've been having regular sex and not preventing for a year, then its a year they've been ttc.
Dusty-raise your concern with your GP/nurse, they might do some blood tests and let you wait another few months (depending on age/previous medical history etc) or they might refer you straight away. We hit our 12 month mark in about 3 weeks..*bah*

How did mmc come to the conclusion that you ov'd on Monday?
CM? I get ewcm twice, once at ov and once shortly before AF (am getting one now:mad:).

So. Any suggestions for a good alcohol alternative? I like wine mainly, red or white... tried Appletiser, Peartiser, Schloer...none of which feel right
