Thats from carrington carr
If you have details stating that they are GISC regulated, then I would go back to the company inclosing that documentation, stating that the FOS will look at your case (Although you may want to ask FOS first to see if they will look at it for certain)I tell ambulance chasers where to go for a living, but am willing to help genuine claimants0 -
If the poster cannot get the complaint over for FOS to look at against the seller of the policy then it is always worth asking FOS if they will accept against the insurer as they are "trying" to get these complaints under jurisdiction and make insurers responsible.stereo_mike wrote: »Is that correspondence from Carrington Carr or from the Insurer??
As you were aware that the policy was added to the mortgage, I very much doubt that you will be able to pursue point 2 that dustonh has stated.0 -
Its carrington carr correspondence all im asking is what chance have i got or should i drop the claim0

You've always got a chance but if they were not under GISC members (as this was 2004) then the courts would be your only option if they did not uphold. You can however ask FOS if they would accept the complaint against the insurer as FOS ar doing this now hoping to get them to accept the misselling. Still nothing definate although they are trying so maybe another avenue for you.Its carrington carr correspondence all im asking is what chance have i got or should i drop the claim0 -
