Where are the Star Wars bits at? Toys r Us, FAO Swartz, Madam Tousards (sp?) etc?

Going to find the Flatiron building this time. Never seen it in all the times I've been to NYC.

Century 21 is a bit like TK Maxx in my opinion. Never found anything of real interest last time I was there, but then again, I'm male and most of it is dedicated to women's clothes and shoes.

Macys is nice to look around but just the same as House Of Fraser.
Do they still have the womens' toilets on the floor with the mens' clothing and the mens' right at the top in the womens' section?

flatiron building is at 23rd street where 5th and broadway intersect.

agree with you about century 21 too much of a free for all for me.

Hi, I've searched this forum but can't find the posting I'm looking for....
Off to NY in December - and someone posted about a boat trip and dinner and entertainment which she said was once in a lifetime and had made the trip perfect. At the time I remember looking and thinking it was about £40 pp so for 'once in a lifetime' was good - (I may be mistaken about that bit;)) but I've had a search and can only find trips for about 150 dollars! Any help please?
would this be the boat/ dinner cruise http://www.worldyacht.com/

THAT'S IT! Thanks - (how did you find it:))

it was ok legroom wise i am 5 10 and hubby is 6 foot and we were "ok" as far as planes go, but if you are on american airlines the seats with most room are row 20 - whole row and row 41 in the middle block , they have considerably more room - hth

agree with above i went with AA on a 777 and had pre chose row 41 seats C,D &F for both flights considerably more legroom than other seats with exception of the emergency exit rows, but they cost more to book.

Also if you are going AA the service was fantastic, going out i was quite surprised to see just one female FA all the rest were middle aged men.On way back it was all older larger ladies not quite as friendly and helpful as the men but no major issues.

complete opposite to how Virgin have become in my opinion with highly made up young women who have little interest in helping.
have a look at these links for AA and BA

I remembered seeing it, whilst i was looking at what you get with the NY pass. apparently if you get the pass, you get a free bottle of champagne on the cruise. We head off to Ny next week, and never been before, so really excited!!

no BA have 4 class cabin and AA have 3 class cabin.

see seat guru links posted above, not a great deal of difference between rows in BA economy section.

ha we must have had the same crew on opposite shifts , on way out was larger older ladies one we referred to as matron ( i know we shouldnt lol ) and on way back it was mostly middle aged men who were lovely and friendly , i also found it quite a refreshing change .
