Thinking of going to new york in June 2007, any ideas on when some good deals on flights come about? as booking early does not always mean getting the best price.

p.s Extractor Fan - can I respectfully suggest that you take a quick reality check ! You want to fly nearly 7000 miles and your quibbling over a few quid difference on a £200 ish fare. Just to put it into context - a standard 2nd class return from Carlisle to London is £222.00

Nah, I was just happy that I found a flight that would save me £50. £200 flight to NY is prettier than a £250 flight.

well not really, because I still dont know what time is best to book, I was just asking for some advice from others who may have any guidance....
