Ames, she did ask, but it was more I burst into tears and said what my ex was capable of that she then said I didn't have to go to the police, just get proof. My proof is Pint. Thanks hun. That means a lot :kisses3:ghostmadlittlemiss wrote: »If it's the optional ones she's struggling with, what are the compulsory ones?

The compulsary ones are Maths, English Language/Lit, Science, ICT, PE and Beliefs/Values. She wants to choose to upgrade the ICT she's doing to a full GCSE, so that's one option chosen. She def wants to do Sociology so just 2 left, with 3 reserves.Spud - she seems quite shy (just an impression) would drama be a good option to help bring her out a bit?
She's very shy, just like me. Hell would freeze over before she chooses drama, although I agree it might help her shyness. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hi all
Elfen....so sorry to hear about what's happening to you. What a nasty piece of work. Hope you can get it sorted and quickly.
Sal - glad to hear you can come to Bun's party!
IA - good to see you around today (even though I've not been)
Spud - I've done this three times now and it's not an easy decision. All mine made their choices for very different reasons and certainly two of them had no idea about what they wanted to do as a career.
I would be inclined to let her choose what she will enjoy, within reason, on the basis that if she hates the subject (regardless of how 'useful' it is) she won't want to put the effort in when it comes to revising etc. I know DS thinks like this and I can understand it.
Don't worry about A levels at this stage unless she has any particular subjects in mind now, as some A levels can be taken even if they haven't done the GCSE (of course not things like sciences, maths etc).
Feel free to PM me if I can be of any help xYOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -

Ugh, my eyes have gone square, I've been entering competitions for the last hour and a half. My aim was 50 a day but I've only managed 36. Might do some more later.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

I'm very slowly ploughing through my research proposal for my dissertation and hoping my housemate doesn't knock on my door asking me to go out. I still can't afford it.
I'll go out with her next week but I bet she won't ask then.
