But a few pennies are better than no pennies. I'm going to check the clicks thread now to see if I'm doing it right, there's no point carrying on if I'm not!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

absolutely none sadly unless you want to teach Drama or go in at the bottom somewhere like a theatre and work up and do the jobs kids from school get without a degree anyway - I speak from experience - worst choice I ever made was a drama degree, as much use as a chocolate teapot in lifeI did O Level and A level drama and it was a natural choice at the time, to be honest I don't know what I would have done instead - Communication Studies perhaps........not a much better choice really!
Spent nearly an hour waiting in the Doctor's surgery to eventually be told - as expected - that my glucose test was normal. I explained that I hadn't been told to fast before the first blood test (which was being used for a few things) and she apologised and said it was their error.
Now that means OH can't say 'you MUST have high cholesterol' because I know I don't and he can't say 'you MUST be diabetic' because I know I'm not when he's trying to pin stuff on me about my weight. So raspberries to himObviously I know that being very overweight is bad for my heart/joints etc but he used to tell me I had high cholesterol etc because he was looking for things to 'hit' me with emotionally.
I also did my presentation on planning teaching with regards to inclusivity of learners with learning difficulties and disabilities today for my teaching qualification, so glad that's out of the way!"Stay Wonky":D

I have to confess I got into Public Relations after graduating by telling a fib.....I said I had a Media Studies degree for years when the reality was I have a Drama degree but specialised in video production in my third year.......:o This was a time though (early 90s) when Media Studies degrees were quite a rare beast so were held with a bit more respect than now!!
I'm going to have great delight in telling him Sally. He knows his could be high because of a family history of it (and sadly losing his mum and brother at an earlier age to it) but has always refused to be tested and I kind of think he's trying to put up a smoke shield by making a song and dance that I MUST have it because I'm overweight but now he can't start spouting that.
Fat but normal...........not quite sure I like that in a weird way. I don't do 'normal'!!!! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

BB, I'm the same, despite all my family saying I HAVE to lose weight or I WILL get ill because of it.... I have all the tests done regularly because my meds can lead to diabetes and the strong family history, and my glucose levels are on the low end of normal, as is my blood pressure. It's just the rest of my blood that's !!!!ed!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
