you were classed as a bull across there but i think your views are quite balanced and not at all bullish just realistic IMO.
it didn't help your case that you switched from being a bear to a bull - the overseers didn't like that.

Bullish, and right...... Not a combination HPC tolerates for very long.
Which given the fact that you and I post many of the same articles and viewpoints, you have just found out the hard way.
It was a lot healthier before they banned all the other bulls. Did you think that because you don't like the fact that prices are rising, you were somehow immune?
Your sense of victimhood is showing through.

I have only one thing to say.
Visit the MSE thread where Hamish is now posting and read the 16 or so pages of UNMODERATED posts and see what would happen to this forum if we did not intervene. The endless backbiting and name calling totally drowns out what Hamish is trying to say there. It's not a pleasant experience and I would not want to go back there. You have to sign in to read the thread because they have to limit the discussion to members only because of trolling.

Why do they all seem to have cat avatars?0

In a nutshell. Unfortunately this place isn't very good now, if you post anything moderately bullish you'll get an ascii facepalm and some abuse in response. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Should have read the whole thread mate, doccyboy gave the real reason for "trolling" the bulls just a few posts earlier.....Doccyboy---Any guests or newbies will be able to judge that the members labelled trolls cannot be relied on for veracity.
Ahhhh, so we were right, but you want to convince newbies we have "no veracity".
What did other members think.......Clearly those who run this site are no longer prepared to tolerate the likes of Hamish et al now that prices have started to trend up, as yesterdays Nationwide figures confirmed. 'Veracity' seems to have little to do with it.
Alrighty then.
From an honest bear on the same thread......Trolling the bulls without a warning was a very bad call.
It shows this site as nothing more than a vested interest vehicle, albeit South rather than North but the only difference between the two is timing.
At least, now we know.
They meant it when they said this site was set up to counter the endless North spin.
Pity really because freedom of speech is a more useful tool than another spinning top on the see saw.
You may want to take those blinkers off, Spartacus......“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Yes, funny that. Seems bears can be trolls too......;)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Turnbull, you always seemed quite "bearish" on a certain other forum. Saying that a lot on there seemed to think houseprices can only go up.0

No blinkers mate, I have already said here that they are inconsistent in their modding policy. Troll bulls like Renterbob and Fossildog get away with murder on their forums in spite of being as bad as any bull trolls. Let's face it they troll you and you troll them back and it develops into an unholy escalation and clutters up the forum as neither party wants to back down.
Banning was sensible.
I think you need to get over your victim complex and stop obsessing about a site that has banned you and move on with your life mate.
Do you obsess about ex-girlfriends too"There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
