I get the impression you feel threatened by it which is fine, that's your opinion.

  • I dont really care who owns/created house web sites.

As before if a service is free and you can publicise your house in ANY way in a really tough market then you go for it - surely ??!!

I assume only committed house sellers / renters would agree.

Map works "wrong" - an accidental turn of mouse wheel and it flies out in scale

    http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/tepilo.com
shows it's not got a huge following yet

This is correct behaviour for a google map

Doesn't mean it's right when the mouse focus is stolen by the map. It makes the website look useless and silly.

The behaviour is exactly the same as on maps.google.co.uk. If you have mouseover, then the scroll wheel changes scale. If you have the action without mouseover, then your browser is playing up.

Do you think that mouseover is insufficient to permit this behaviour?

edited to add: On this site, if you have the advanced edit window open, the scroll works on the edit window or on the page as a whole, purely according to mouseover.

There's over 500 properties for sale in my home county - Tepilo has FOUR.

The first is Sold, it was for sale with a local agent, and the owners have obligingly uploaded the agent's schedule as a .pdf to Tepilo.....

The second has, in the google street view window, their agent's sale board pictured in the front garden, but for their photos, they've used the builder's artist's impressions of the new build development a few hundred yards along the road!

The third is Flat B at a certain address, but Tepilo has somehow suppressed the street number. No pictures and only a basic description

The last one has a few photos and a decent description.

Still unimpressed, and don't see why any local EA should be quaking in their shoes..... when half of these above were actually advertised with local agents anyway.

Tepilo. Stupid name for a website. Not exactly catchy.

Entered my local area in Kent and got one house in Barnet, and another in Derbyshire.

Just four properties for the whole of Maidstone (728 on Rightmove).
    Been away for a while.
