Maybe i should just cancel my doctors appointment, because it seems you and Dmg are doctors now, yes? No i thought not!
It seems as if you just want people to say what you want to hear..ie that you shouldn't have to go on these courses etc.
I'm sorry but I agree with the posters who have said you should give these things a try. Sitting about at home brooding clearly isn't doing you any good.
We all have to push ourselves to do things we don't want to do from time to time. That's life.
And I've suffered with depression myself so do understand.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
If you're on New Deal you should be able to access a 'Mentor'. They're independant of the JCP (might use their premises tho') and most are trained Counsellors etc.
Their goal is to get you to resolve 'outside issues' (health etc) in a private & confidential manner, so you can move forward in your job hunting.
Why not ask your adviser if you can be referred?

PS - Won't get you out of the training course tho'! :j:D:beer::eek::A:p:rotfl::cool::):(:T0 -
Board Guide comment
I am closing this thread and referring it to the forum team as I feel as if the op is discussing medical advice which is against forum rules. As other posters have pointed out see your GP, it is never a good idea to self-diagnose using the internet.
MEDICAL ADVICE
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0
