"Can do" children toilet wet wipes. . .

Options
Been told that other supermarkets make their own brand of "Can Do" children toilet wet wipes.

Can you recommend a good make at a good price?

We've had Little Bottoms - they're in a purple packet simiar to Kandoo and they're fine. Some of the own brands aren't wet enough I think but it's personal choice. We all use them. Kandoo quite often have free offers on.

Wilkinson nearly always seem to have BOGOF on some sort of wipes, if its not the actual toilet ones then l buy the baby wipes when they are on offer, both do a fine job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I use Tesco's own, they fit in the Kandoo tub and are about 89p for the same size pack.

I've used boots, tesco and wilkinsons and they're all fine. Quite often they're on bogof somewhere.
Chirpy I hope you don't put the baby wipes down the loo as they're not flushable and will block the pipes. I know as it has happened on our street.

i wouldn't recommend flushing toilet wipes either - our drain was blocked & mr dynarod said was cos of kandoo type wipes & is a common problem. we only ever used a maximum of 2 which should be fine but wasn't! bin them instead, or will cost u nearly £100 to clear drain - not very moneysaving!!

Why do children need these wipes? What's wrong with ordinary toilet roll?

Just curious as my two have always used toilet paper and managed fine. Is there a good reason for the wipes, or is it just another way to make money out of parents?
Here I go again on my own....

Becles- its another way to make money out of parents! Its a wonder civilisation has managed to evolve for 2000+ years without kandoo potty training wipes! I found wet wipes perfectly sufficient, or plain old loo roll with a bit or water on!

Saw them kandoo things the other day and they're like £2.50 a packet or something daft like that! Not sure how they aid toilet training, my little boy was enthralled at using loo roll by himself to wipe his bum because he felt grown up! As most people know by now I think we're getting ridiculous with the things we do for our kids and nannying them 'no solids until 6 months' 'sterilise until 1 year' 'don't potty train until two'. Think its bloody disgusting when a kid at two and a half is still kacking its pants

When I was potty training, I liked the flushable wipes for when they have the 'cement type' of poo that sticks in hard to remove bits all over their bum :o (or is it just my kids that get this:D ). I disliked throwing normal wipes with poo on straight into the bin, in their nappy days I would wrap the wipes within the nappy. Most of the time paper is ok, just once in a while I needed something more moist and I found wetting loo paper meant it little bits of loo paper stuck to their bits instead.
