    that tart looks lovely! today I made a massive mince and onion pie.made 3 large amounts of pastry too bagged up and in freezer for when the notion takes me. got soda bread on the griddle too

    Made a lemon drizzle traybake and a chocolate sponge cake for our lunch boxes this week. I've found it to be filling enough for us 3 for a week and also cheaper than buying biscuits/cakes/crisps etc. this is the third week I've done it and its nice to have homemade cake ready in the cupboard :)

    These look fab - please share the recipe!

    I used this Michel Roux Jr recipe for mine and I would definitely use it again. The pan I used was a lakeland one but I'm not happy with it - the grooves aren't deep enough to give a good defined scallop shape to it.
