Been in a baking frenzy for the past few days.

Marbled Chocolate Cake for later when DD1's BF arrives, and will be doing a Lemon Drizzle for my Dad (one of his favourites) for when he calls tomorrow.

Found some mince meat at the back of the fridge when I cleaned it out this morning, so I made mince pies. Then had too much pastry so made a saucer jam tart to use it all up.
Does any one still use a saucer like me when the tart tin is full :-)
My Granny and I baked together when I was little and we did this always, it still makes me happy, such lovely memories.
Hopefully I will get to do this with my grandchildren and pass on skills. :-)Jue0 -
Memories there for me. Also used a saucer. I can remember that the pastry was really awful looking by the time I had played with it. It still got baked and Dad ate it!Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

will definitley bake a HM pizza for tea later. As I will heat the stone oven for it I usually chuck in a soda bread after to make use of the heat. I really should also be making something with rhubarb and eggs, either a custard or meringue tart. Hop I will have the energy after another couple of hours in the garden!First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0
