    made 40 for for my sons home couple of days will dil to be an girlfriends

    also made some butter kisses they went down well

    this afternoon had mad moment decided try do diff cake of sorts with mixed fruit

    said to hubby it called a whats it cakey thing :rotfl:
    used mug plain flour
    mug an half brown suger
    mug an half mixed fruit
    mug of oats
    4 teaspoons syrup
    1 egg
    all mixed up added bit of milk
    put in loaf tin sprinkled bit brown sugar over
    put in oven at 170 tried 20 mins not long enough
    did maybe 10 more mins not sure was doin other things

    was pleasantly surprised its lovely hubby thinks if we had real butter in house would be really nice on a slice

    no Idea what made me throw all that together just fancied making some kind of fruit loaf

    will make again

  • I found these in Tesco yesterday reduced to 20p, dairy free milk and white chocolate buttons, usually 40-60p elsewhere. BB date: Jan 2015. Hope it helps some fellow bakers :)

  • I'm not a frequent baker, but I'd been eyeing up this recipe for rainbow cookies for months and I finally got around to baking them :j I'm quite surprised at how well they turned out! I'm currently nibbling on one (three) right now, with a hot cuppa :D
