I'm not much of a baker but today I made baked herby chicken with roasted vegetables and a spiced courgette loaf. It was 'needs must' because I have a glut of courgettes at the moment but it was well worth it as both were delicious. I got the recipe for the courgette loaf from BBC Good Food website but it could stand to be a bit more spiced so I think I'll use more mixed spice next time. A perfect way to use up courgettes though.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

I made a bakewell tart. I had some raspberries that needed using up, so I put some of these in at the jam stage as well, in between the jam and the flangipan. It was tasty. I topped with icing and then more raspberries. Plenty left for the week for treats.Mum of 2 monkey. 4 yrs and 2 yrs :j

Im just about to start on making blackberry pies as I have sooo many blackberries which the kids picked the other day. JJ's herby bread with bacon baked in it and plum and nectarine crumble, to use up fruit that was too squishy for my taste, to eat raw.
Both portioned out for OH to take to work for lunches.0 -
