Here is the all in one recipe cake I made last night. No baking today - oven not going on.
We had a piece of cake - mid morning - I even let Mr F have a slice - he was sweeping the side alley for me.
I used the No Bits jam I got from £land - yummy.

I made some more JJ's Herby Cheese Bread - used the last of some Feta cheese - rustic look. I sprinkled some Garlic Granules on top of bread after brushing with milk before baking.

    I use a 8" round tin 4" deep
Cooking times --when its cook -- no sticky bits on a skewer My oven gets really hot so I have to cook everything on 100 or less.

    1lb S.R. flour
8oz sugar - caster or gran or any other (never tried)
    8oz mixed fruit
4oz cherries halved or quarter your choice
8oz marg - I use the big 1kg tubs from supermarkets
    2 eggs
    vanilla essence/extract
    milk to mix

rub marg & flour together to make breadcrumbs/crumble
mix in dry stuff - hands are easier
add eggs, vanilla and milk to get right texture - not to wet no to dry, you know when it looks right

    bake190-160 145 mins or when it's cooked ;)
    sorry I dont know gas
  • I am loving all the recipes and desperate to try many of them, BUT I can't find the recipe for JJs Herby cheese bread. I'd really like to try this and, although I have gone to the index as described, I can't find it! Please can you help?

    TIA
