Ive made gingerbread men (well skeletons!) practicing for halloween altho the dough was very crumbly and the tops are all irregular? Any suggestions why this might be?

Chocolate cake using a value sponge mix and cocoa powder. Cake lovely but the buttercream I made needs some work... I'll try a different recipe for that I think.
Tomorrow my breadmaker comes home after being on loan to my Dad. Can't wait to make some lovely bread!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

I made Good Food Magazines Ham and Spinach Tart.
Make or buy your sauce they say 'readymade Cheese sauce' to add to Supermarket Profits.
Ham of choice.
eggs to make sauce into quiche like.
All Butter Puff or Shortcrust pastry again buy as I did or learn to make.
Spinach defrost.
Assemble tart in logical fashion bung in oven for 30 minutes, allow to cool down sufficiently to eat hot.

Just taken some choc chip muffins out of the oven...they smell lush - I popped them in whilst the chick was roasting.
Waiting for my bread dough to rise, and might make some cookies whilst my beef mince is browning.
(The chick's for today and tomorrow, so the mince will be turned into spagbol sauce and frozen).
Kittenkirst, there could be a few reasons for the gingerbread being crumbly and uneven, but I'm thinking that you may not have kneaded it enough.
