I made some banana and chocolate cookies (2 batches) instead of the usual banana cake. Trouble is, athough they taste nice, they came out very spongy and not at all cookie-like.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £148.59 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0

Made banana bread for the first time with some overripe bananas my OH was going to put in the composter. nice too, but, I made a slight mistake with the baking powder - didnt have SR which the recipe called for so used Plain and er, misread the measuring spoon and put in dessertspoonfuls instead! still it tasted nice!
also fried up some mushrooms, made a white sauce and combined them with the leftover chicken from yesterday. made pastry and now have a nice chicken and mushroom pie in the oven.0 -
