    One ciabatta loaf using a mix a bought from Lidl which turned out really good and a I baked a batch of NNs (sorry can't say the name it's un-PC).

  • homemade sausage rolls today, firsat attempt and they turned out really well:D

    A treacle sponge.
    (and to go with it, ...... tesco value custard instant mix ....... tastes fab and only 6p a packet!!!! I have always made my own custard, never liked the taste of instant/tins, but this has transformed me)
    A creative mess is better than tidy idleness :D

    Garlic dough balls from a packet mix to go with spag bol for dinner and buttermilk scones adapted from Be-Ro recipe to have with strawberry jam and (naughty) cream !

    I baked this Italian xmas cake in my panni ,I was nervous because the recipe came from another book .
    It turned out huge ,gorgeous,and better than buying from Aldi or Lidl.
    Could certainly give as a present.

    PS.. my 87yr mother can't leave it alone ...loves it.
  • I did my first big batch of mince pies today. I'm going to try and be good and not dive in as on the celeb slim diet but might treat myself to a couple nearer christmas!!!
