Budgie is still feeling down, but I am sure I will pick up. (Hopefully). So hugs to everyone I haven't had time to mention. Oh some good news, my little dog has been to the vets and they are really pleased with him and have reduced his tablets down from three to two

Meal planning is mighty fine!!!! Cut our bills drastically..... and don't forget to cook double and freeze half of it. your very own 'ready meal'

Hi Dear Lurky, thanks for that, but I am one step ahead

Tonight I had a veggie chilli from the freezer, from when I did some batch cooking before, made lots of that along with shepherds pies too. You are right its a ready meal, but at least you know whats in it

Is there a reason you are throwing computers out of the window? Or are you just doing the rock star thingy :cool: (You know Corrie, Status Quo, Les Battersby etc)

On a serious note though did anyone see him on the tv a couple of weeks ago leaving court from a drink drive incident? He looked awful and is having help with his drinking. I felt very sad for him, poor guy looked beaten.

So huffers, lets all huff together.

Its soo nice to be back here, I have to say Its been a real struggle to remain af tonight, actually the worst I have ever known, it makes me realise how dependant I am as tonight just feels flat without my usual wine and that just worries me how much I rely on it...dh is not drinking either which is helping at least (and of course coming on here and reading all your comments )

Need to get onto the old style board now for some tips on meal planning as my non wine brain is looking for something to do and I really need to cut down my grocery spend...
