Glad you've had a lovely birthday weekend HB, you certainly deserve it with all the carp you've had lately and keeping us all happy:T:T

Jo, good luck with your last four days at work, I'll be thinking of you. Then you've got a good holiday to get your mind in gear for your new place. Hope DD2 is on the mend.

Good to catch up with you all and well done those who've gone MAD this weekend (and well done sparkles on your exercise regime, stick with it).

MissP, I hope you and Piglet and OH had a good weekend at the seaside. Weather seemed OK?

I've had a very social (and non-MAD) weekend but quite moderate. Only shared a bottle of champagne with OH tonight, been to Wembley (first time to new stadium) and we had to celebrate!:T:T

Out tomorrow (again) but will meet my target Tuesday, definitely.

    Have a good week everyone.

Keep strong Bismark sounds like you've been having a couple of ....don't know what to call them...not doubts...not tempataions.....trials.....for once i'm lost for the right word.

Would it help to be told that you are an inspiration to so many on here?

    Take care.

keeping the thoughts close to the surface is part of what works for me. I feel the emotions and can deal with it and move on...part of the constant vigilance...and protection. If it sounds like I'm tepted, don't worry...I'm not...just aware of where other paths lead. They are still ot nice places to go to for me.

    take care all!

    Bis

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

No....still going strong...can you believe 2 years next week.Just so busy I keep forgetting to update my score.

    29 for me please Shaggy

This weekend is the BIG weekened.DH birthday then wedding anniversary then my birthday all in three days.It is two years since I very nearly ruined my 25th wedding anniversary with alcohol/hangover.We were in Blackpool with my parents and I got so drunk on DH birthday that I could hardly get out of bed on our anniversary the next day because I was so ill.:o
I promised myself then that when I got home I would stop drinking for good.....and I did....with the help of this thread and particularly the wise words of Bismarck.

I promise to try and post more often and I would like to say thank you to everyone who posts their stories on here .......You are lovely honest people and I love you all.:A

    Take care of YOU
