    That was so funny! :rotfl:

I have terrible cold - completely bunged up :( but I am feeling calmer and more in peace with stuff. Will do my 3 miler for sport relief on Sunday thou even if I have to walk it. No training for me until mid April as I have too much on the plate at the moment, I am looking after friend's dog and then after that there will be Easter hols when need to look after DD in the afternoons (I will put her into nursery part time) so can't get out to run. BUT I just got a call from guide dogs (how apt - my dog was a labrador) that I have a place now for BUPA 10k in London on 31/5. :j

I shall go MAD in bath tonight after DD has gone to bed to hopefully get myself warm and be able to breath a bit better. So 18 please Shaggy! :)

hi everyone, just thought i would pop in and say a sheepish hello as its been a while since i last joined in.

February ended up going very wrong and March didnt start much better. However I had a totally alcohol free 8 days last week, along with my bf who has decided that him and alcohol have become rather too close and so he has stopped drinking.

He is getting the results he wants, the weight is dropping off his love handles (and I do love them dearly!) so he is pleased. Although he is finding he wakes up in the morning with a bad head each day. Hopefully this will wear off.

I am doing OK too, had a bottle of wine on Sunday but stretched it out 3 nights rather than the normal 2 so that was soemthing. I bought it because the old me "fancied" it and then really when I drank it I didnt enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Just habit I guess.

It's Thursday night, danger night for me, but I am staying in. I was going to pop to the supermarket to get some bits for lunch tomorrow (which would have meant picking up a bottle too) but have remembered there are some bits in the freezer I can use, so I get brownie points on the DFW front too :D

hope everyone is well and enjoying being MAD as march hares! :j

    Hello everyone,

I haven't been here for what seems like ages and ages - I've just been really busy and also rather alcohol free! so I am very pleased.

I'm well on the way to my target with 13 days AF (well, I'm pretty sure it's that, I've kind of lost count), thanks Shaggy.

I'll try and catch up with everything and be around more as life calms down a bit!
    Trying to keep in budget.

Morning all. Didn't have an AFD yesterday and wasn't very good units-wise :(

Hubby and I were talking and working on a project last night. I don't feel particularly pleased about how much I drunk but at the moment I am trying to cut myself some slack what with what's going on, and I consider it a minor blip as I have been doing so well.

I know today will be an AFD though as I see clients on Saturday mornings but will confirm that later on.

Hope everyone is well this Friday morning :D

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
