Cheers
I think it's important to take stock every now & again. Sometimes it feels like a never-ending slog so it really helps to look back & see how far you've come.
Seeing as you're going to be a high-flying PA v.soon then it makes sense to put aside an evening (or whenever) to sort out your budget & see what you can throw at your debts & at your Christmas plan. But it's important you give yourself a little treat too cos you deserve it@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? I can not allow myself to spend money because I don't stop and unfortunately I still, even after all the debt I've been in, have no value for money, don't know why. If it's in my pocket I will spend it, regardless if I have a bill that needs paying. Very immature behaviour I know, but I don't know how to change it. I must admit I have improved since I've been posting on here, I'm aware of how much things actually are, I like to cook frugally and will always Quidco for stuff, do surveys etc etc, it's just when I've got money I find it very hard not to spend it
On my first pay day I will be buying the biggest take away ever and will follow with cream cakes
I am looking forward to buying my kids clothes as they don't have a lot of clothes at the moment since a recent growth spurt and I just can't afford to buy it all at the moment. I spent a fortune kitting them out with a complete brand new school uniform last August, most of which no longer fit. Both kids need shoes, school ones and knocking about ones.
I need new work clothes, I can't decide and what do you all think.....should I wear suits to work everyday? If I turn up during the first week wearing a suit then I'll always have to wear one. Or should I just get a few decent pairs of trousers (don't do skirts) and some nice shirts instead?DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Ginormous takeaway & cream cakes sound good to me
I think a decent suit is always a good investment & you can always wear the trousers separately. It's also a good look for a first day. But then you can scope out how other people dress & see if it will have to always be a suit or you can alternate. I wouldn't buy too much stuff before you start, just in case it could turn out to be inappropriate, iyswim?
