Blimey I'm an Aries as well :rotfl:
Been for a curry and stuck to two small glasses of wine so really pleased that I've stuck to a sensible amount and not gone mad.
So that does me my AF days have gone down to 5 from 6 as I had counted today earlier on. I am however staying in tomorrow as I know people are planning a bit of a heavy night out. I'll be happy chilling out on the sofa with my kitty cat
EDIT: I have actually only had 1.5 small glasses of wine - I was on my second glass here at home when I typed and got half way through and couldn't stomach anymore and whereas I'd normally force it down, I chucked it. Woo hoo!0 -
I was supposed to me an Aries;) but i was born 2 weeks early so I am a Pisces

It really has some impact for me
It does with me too. I've wondered for awhile if alcohol can become a screen to hide behind.. *shruggy smiley needed here*@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -
I've just re-read the poem. It is so good. But now I can't get 'Take That-Shine' out of my head!

It was for me. Or more to the point, it numbed all feeling so i didn't have to feel anything anymore- trouble is it numbs the good and the bad.
Forgetting previous jokes...if you haven't read @feel the fear and do it anyway' I can recomend it. It's even on the nhs mental health book list.LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0 -

Totally freaked, just watching Corrie from Thurs, and they playing Take That Shine in the background :eek:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
I remember reading that book when I was 19, but I think I was too young to really appreciate it. Maybe I should give it another go.
Now that I am being more careful I'm starting to see the possible reasons for my excessive drinking.
Hubby and I are going through a sh*te time, not sure if we're going to get through it and this afternoon at work I was sat there nearly in tears just really feeling the need to drink to numb it all out. But I now know it's much better to feel what's going on and much healthier to cry than sink a few bottles0
