Morning everyone!
Cloudy day here today. Have to go up the library this morning as books overdue (oops...not very moneysaving!) and Piglet had a letter from the library service the other day asking very nicely if they could possibly have "little miss Christmas" back at some point!!:rotfl:
PBT - thats a good idea ! Warn you though, I'm not the best or most competent of gardeners so my seedling supply will prob be quite basic!:rotfl::o
RA - I can understand why AA see 6 months as the first milestone. Hopefully I will get to that point.:)
Jo - lots of ((hugs)) to help you through today:grouphug:
Piglet off to nursery this afternoon. So will prob go and have a little mooch around a garden centre. I notice the one in Lechlade was selling nice looking gift bags with various dahlia bulbs in which would make a nice mothers day pressie for Mum (her birthday is the same day...how awkward is that...) and I might be tempted into buying a few more little plug plants and seeds:whistle:
Miss P

Used my super strong eczema cream lat night and read the leaflet that accompanied it
Avoid alcohol as can cause redness and flushing (well this happens to me anyway) Decision made I think for the holiday and I have decided not to take any wine with me. I was planning on taking a bottle for the weekend maybe however now I don't want to bring on anymore side effects to this cream so looks like decision is made to remain AF

Also, I've made less rash decisions. Guess we've all been there, agreeing to things when we're half cut which, in the cold light of day, aren't great decisions.
As some of you may remember, after a heavy drinking session some months ago which then caused me to be hideous to my husband, I stopped drinking for a couple of months. Miss P
xx
Miss P - this is just me down to a T! I am always arranging trips/holidays with friends who annoy me after a just one night, nights out that in the cold light of day are just plain crazy, I make plans for all sorts of things we just cannot afford, it seems great fun and a great idea at the time, but I so regret it later
Although I am usually just silly when drunk, I have noticed lately I can get very argumentative, especially with my husband. In fact we ended up rowing on Friday after a few too many!
Have been good last 3 nights though and aim to be good all week. I too am desperate to lose a few lbs and so far have failed miserablybut I do feel a lot stronger this week and more determined - especially with this gorgeous sunshine reminding me Summer is not so far away!
Hope you all have a lovely day!

It's my birthday on Friday Miss P so I do understand how difficult this makes it for DDs...flowers so expensive, all restaurants booked up and too busy to enjoy etc etc
Hope yesterday went OK fay and so glad you're back with us. I'm off to Edinburgh on Monday for a few days. I've never been to Scotland before so really looking forward to it. Would love to have a list of 'must-see/must do' things from you (or anyone else who's been). We're flying up so anything we do will be by public transport.

My Mums 50th birthday fell on Mothers day - Dad had booked us lunch at a very nice hotel but it was horrendously busy and the meal was typical bog standard mass catering stuff as it was Mothers day. Very disappointing! (they were so busy Dad had to remind them 3 times to bring the cake out!!!). So Mum refused to go out for lunch this year!!:rotfl::rotfl:
