I am FAFFing tonight with a bottle of Shloer and a prawn curry and the live episode of Eastenders making it 17 AFD tonight

Then an early night, looking forward to waking up naturally instead of the alarm (which will probably be an hour later!)

Almost 2 weeks AF this weekend! The longest time for a while which made me smile when I realised!

Good luck FAFFing or CAFFing everyone and have a good Friday night. Will pop back later on to see hi

  • Hi all

Mutual support very important for me for this weekend. I've given up wine for Lent - not that I'm particularly religious, but want to prove to myself (and family) that I can do it. Every night is OK except Saturday night, I can feel the cravings starting already and I am doing some serious talking to myself. :j

December Baby - I too have teenagers (DDs) who go out and come back so, so late, and I get so, so worried. :mad:DD1 regularly comes in at 4-5 am - she's 18 now, but been doing this since aged 16. DD2 and DD3 (16 and 14) are not quite as bad - DD2 always makes sure a taxi is ordered and tells me what time she should be home.

I WILL NOT DRINK TOMORROW NIGHT. I will feel fantastic on Sunday morning and will be full of energy, not panicking about work on Monday after my week's holiday. :T:T Hangovers make me paranoid these days.

    Bi for now

    xx

  • PIR - thanks. Teenagers are such a worry aren't they. That late night time with no answer from the mobile is horrible.

Good luck on your AF Lent. I'm sure you can do it on Saturday. It is just
another day. If you can do a Friday you can do a Saturday!

I'm about to go out and do some shopping before the Live Eastenders
episode. Do need to go out as we have nothing much in at all.
If I'm not drinking I fancy a few treats. The bells are clanging a bit though.

    Hope everyone is ok tonight.

No bells ringing here which is nice

PIR - good luck for tomorrow, I find it exactly the same, the bells are faint until 5pm on Sat when they ring loudly for me. Last week I made sure when I thought about having an alcoholic drink I had a large soft drink instead and then had a bath and then a nice tea and then I forgot all about it and it was a successful AF Sat ensued!

  • Hi FUAS. Thought I was on my own!

I've been FAFFing with Eastenders too and then Masterchef.
I thought EE was good too - only spotted Jack Branning fluffing his lines!
Bit of a sad ending though.

This is my first FAFF for ages so at last I can say 1 FAFF for me Fay!

    Where is everyone?

    :hello::hello::hello:

I just love this thread. :A

I've missed two days and the conversation hops about all over the place. Been loving your take on chicken v egg fay. I have a little zoology background and your argument makes prefect sense to me. Not sure what American creationists would say though?? Great that you've seen another house, it sounds lovely in that it's far more neighbour-free. Is this THE ONE if finances allow or are you still looking?

:T:T:T:T about the interview jo. Your mum is a star to support you with the 'interview suit'. How supportive/close will your current colleagues be as you will need to pick a few brains to get genned up for the interview.

fay, For 'knitting of stripey sock purposes' I had a day off on Wednesday when I went to Cardiff but back on the wagon last night. So Af on 18th but not on 17th. Total so far:

    11AF please fay.
  • Morning all
