That's great news about the job interview PIR.:j
Sound like you've got tonight sorted too. Good for you.
Surrounded by tons of housework here but don't feel like doing it!
It is too sunny outside. I thinkj I may attempt a chicken pie this
weekend too Jo. Yours looked fab last weekend.
Poor Bradley. At least now I can se he had a nice soft landing on
a giant inflatable. I'm surprised he didn't bounce right back up again!0 -
I've applied for a new job - just wait and see!
Virgin rentions have just called and offered me another deal - making my bill now £10 a mth for 6mthsinstead of £18.99 and down from the original £34. Ok I now keep the virgin box as freeview box instead of the XL package and I was going to send it back and get a new free wireless router too. Even tho the monthly cost goes up to £21.99 after 6 mths I still save nearly £40 on what I thought was a good deal earlier this week.
They sound desparately keen to keep people. That was a nice result today. Feel a bit better now and off to put some washing in and get some lunch!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I've just joined the PAD thread to try and make some inroads into the CC and do some more debt busting this year. Here we go! Hmm....might think about diverting the alcohol money into this somehow eg £35 every 3 mths for wine deliveries
Strike while the iron is hot and the mind clears from the alcohol!
This is brilliant
I paid off my first loan - using PAD's and mainly (for my sins) I used my wine money - £5 a day for a bottle of wine - I put an extra £155 a month to my loan each month and all the bits extra I saved on shopping etc
GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS A general comment not directed at anyone but me - I don't recommend drinking after you've stopped - 2 glasses my head is like a battering ram - not drinking tonight - I caved Fridays are always hard for me - must try harder.
HUgs to you all ta for the lovely comments re house - I've decided to register my interest on Monday - then do whatever it needs to get us the place - done the sums - it can work -
Jo you're right nearest shop - 6/7 miles one way - 14 the other wayTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Mutual support very important for me for this weekend. I've given up wine for Lent - not that I'm particularly religious, but want to prove to myself (and family) that I can do it. Every night is OK except Saturday night, I can feel the cravings starting already and I am doing some serious talking to myself. :j
December Baby - I too have teenagers (DDs) who go out and come back so, so late, and I get so, so worried. :mad:DD1 regularly comes in at 4-5 am - she's 18 now, but been doing this since aged 16. DD2 and DD3 (16 and 14) are not quite as bad - DD2 always makes sure a taxi is ordered and tells me what time she should be home.
I WILL NOT DRINK TOMORROW NIGHT. I will feel fantastic on Sunday morning and will be full of energy, not panicking about work on Monday after my week's holiday. :T:T Hangovers make me paranoid these days.
Bi for now
xx
Hey just wanted to say - despite my NON-AF ness last night - I'm def up for an AF night tonight
I thankfully at the moment don't have teenagers that go out - one plus side of the weather here is that its not much fun for mooching - I'm dreading when it does happen - the other reason we're looking at the house in the sticks (Which I know is awful) is to limit their ability to get evening transport and make things like that harder (I am really evil) - there's a huge adolescent drinking problem here - there's not much else to do - so I'm getting worried about it all for the kids - DS is 15 DD is 13 - thankfully at the moment they're not interested but I am dreading when it does come and they want to go out
Anyway - goodluck for the giving it up for lent bit - I did think about it...............;)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
