They sound desparately keen to keep people. That was a nice result today. Feel a bit better now and off to put some washing in and get some lunch!

That's interesting, as DD1 has just sent them a strong letter because her wireless router took virtually a month to arrive despite being promised in 3-5 days and lots of calls to ask where it was.

A - I am employed - I'm a paid post-grad student and am SELF employed so that's sort of OK? (didnt mention my contract finishing in Dec.....:o) OH is definitely employed though.

B- I'm married - which is sort of right also - I WAS married and I'm about to do it again - I'm just sort of um between husbands at the moment

Really want pie, but OH said as it's chicken (again *rolleyes* his - not mine) and not steak he doesn't want it so it'll have to be the lasagne :(

I wouldn't worry fay. I don't see that they could expect your life history before you really knew you were seriously interested in the house. I'd be inclined to tell them that you didn't go into too much detail before because it's a bit personal but if they need to know you're actually engaged (and flash the lovely ring you've now found) and soon to be remarried.

Yeah you're right - it was the old man (who showed me the house, the owner) who asked

Folks can be funny about single parents - or maybe I'm just sensitive - I just wanted to seem like a 'normal' family

(DS did laugh outloud when I warned him - us normal)

The man drove us there and was asking lots of those types of questions. I like the culture here - so don't want to disrespect it - but you're right - its not really a factor but I guess they want to check out their tenants.

There is a pub come pieshop in Reading called Sweeney Todds that sells the most amazing pies . Almost any filling you can think of they do it. I want one now:drool::drool:
